I’m greeting like a wane, my dad’s birthday today, he died 18 years ago, he made me a bear, lifted me over the turnstiles, we stood together, etc and as he was dying in hospital, hooked up to morphine pumps, etc, trying to make conversation at a difficult time, I told him we had signed the Spanish boy from Dundee, Novo.
His last words was a smile and said ‘Novo’ - WIN THIS FOR MY DAD Rangers 🇬🇧

Brilliant video. I think most of us can probably relate that even though most of us probably never met the guy, Jimmy feels like the type of father, grandfather, uncle, brother, cousin that we all know in our wider families.....a true Rangers man to the core and no bullshit....and therefore part of all of our wider family.

He got to do what he loved and seeing the videos of our successes over the last 40 odd years you see that in all of them. In a sense Jimmy Bell represented the fans - its like me was him and a part of it if that makes sense. In a sport full of people who think they are important Jimmy was the ordinary guy being part of it - and loving it.
So sad. Take care Jimmy. Rest easy.

Felt like someone had punched me hard in the stomach when I heard....still feel it now.
I found out via twitter. Just a tiny pop up and all I could see was "Rangers are today devastated to...."
Telling us that Jimmy had passed was THE last thing I expected to read.
Can you imagine the laughs he and Walter are having up there just now??

The tributes coming in shows you the stature of the man.
Jimmys passing is massive loss to the club., an absolute legend that deserves to be remembered forever.
