We’ve more than matched them. We deserved that. A little bit of pace up front and we could have got on the end of a few of their slack touches and passes.
Tav take a bow. Magnificent
Couldn’t agree more. The agenda in recent weeks has been about how far we’re behind them and it’s not anywhere near the gap that’s being suggested.
The tactics from Beale have been pretty much spot on for the game and despite the commentary comments about no one playing well for us, we’ve managed the game for significant portions and should have been ahead going into half time
No doubt we’re a couple of players short and if we can pick up the right signings in the summer there’s a big case for optimism

Is it just me who thinks we have been the better team?
We were in top for at least 25 mins of that half imo. They are defo feeling the pressure, and at home too!
The last few minutes were edgy as fuck though.
We tend to play better in the second half under GVB.
Being creative though and I am feeling confident we can win this People.
100% this. For 35 minutes we were in control. Lost it a bit in the last 10 but if we come out and play the way we did for most of that half we’ve a good chance.

1 goal either way wins this, and they are looking the more likely, lucky they aint scored ....last 5,10 mins of that half was a nightmare.
A bad 5/10 minutes yes but overall we’ve played well and are definitely still in it.

So … we save a fortune on buying a replacement, Goldson gets a nice signing on fee which means we can keep him within the wage structure, the defence remains pretty intact from last season going into the Champions League qualifiers, and we can spend to strengthen in other areas.
Sounds like a win win win win situation.

Maybe not the attacking threat but huge credit to Wright and Kent for the amount of backtracking work they’ve put in.

We're running on fumes
We are, but anyone that thinks they’re not playing for Gio should be watching us give it all today after the same on Thursday.

We were bound to be tired after Thursday night but I think we’ve been the better team and despite some comments on here we didn’t throw in the towel when we went behind.

Pretty much my first thought about the game today was the state Borna gave one of their players … I’d have ran a mile if anyone looked at me like that

People go on about the £50K we spent on Kamara being good value but I think that the £225K spent on Tav is even better value. Such an important player and those that slate him will only realise how important he is once he eventually leaves.
Couldn’t agree more. Think he gets a lot of stick at times and it’s not deserved. You see him talking to the team through the whole game … as a good captain should.

So in the first old firm game we’ve a goal incorrectly chopped off by VAR. In the second one we’ve had a clear penalty denied by VAR.
We really need to work harder at this Masonic/Protestant/anti-kafflik conspiracy.
