To me, Gio's biggest problem is player attitude. We all see the difference from the domestic league to Europe. Domestic league we should win most games but players appear to be turning up with the attitude that we should just do enough to win and save our selves for the big games or they can't be bothered doing the mental and physical work on the park to breakdown a 9 or 10 man defense, it then goes wrong and we can't go up a gear midgame. In Europe, we don't expect the stroll any game and we need to up our levels, and we have done this consistently.
Players attitude to each game informs their desire and hunger to win that game. Gio needs to find players who want to put in the hard work to win every game not just the big ones. Playing for Rangers is not just about ability but the correct attitude is a vital to be up for all the games. I think this is our biggest problem and Gio needs to weed out those who jusy don't have it no matter who they are.

Helander is our best CB by quite some distance, however, unfortunately is made of biscuits. Defensively we are normally a completely different team with a fit Helander.
Goldson is a good player but not quite as good as he seems to think he is.

That's the thing, we could quite probably go through - which we'd all be fucking ecstatic about. That said, we set up as a team much more suited to Europe under Gerrard and if anything I only think that has become even more so under Gio.

We need to throw in Beaton to arrive at the complete triumvirate of dirty cheating bastards.

I'm not understanding the fret over McLaughlin so far. The majority of people wanted him in, domestically, after McGregor's mistakes and he's seen as a safe pair of hands. A safe pair of hands that's never done us a bad turn either.
The main doubt was whether he could make big saves and so far against USG and PSV he has made some cracking saves to keep us in ties and games.
Some of our defending, in Europe, midfield to back has been a lot more worrying than McLaughlin's goalkeeping.

In all seriousness, yes, that should be a given, but he carried this team over a long spell (despite not maybe scoring enough in the league overall) when nobody else could seem to score in a barrel of fannies.
He is refereed to a different standard, some of his own making, some not - so you are right, he needs to carry himself differently to othet players. That doesn't make it right, though.

If you think that was a good cross and the problem was with Colak, then that’s on you and your lack of knowledge about football. 

He played the ball behind him and about 5 feet in the air.
It was a terrible cross from a great position, and highlights just how bad his end product was again, rather than blame Colak for trying to do something with it look at Wright’s complete absence of quality.

It’s more the style of play and lack of any cutting edge that’s worrying me, we are going to drop a lot of points this season unless we start playing more direct and moving the ball a lot quicker. 

I mean, that looks horrible to be honest, but further back in the replay, you could see he was unsighted and had about three players in front of him, not including the guy who took the shot.
