If someone in the Enclosure is stupid enough to lob something at the away dugout I hope those cameras do catch them.

Tennis players cover 3-5 miles in a five-set match which takes an average of 3.5 hours. Footballers do 7-10 miles in 90 minutes. Tennis players would need to do double the distance in half the time just to come level with footballers.
Novak Djokovic played a total of 65 matches over the 2018 season (Jan-November). Today was Tavernier's 55th competitive game of 2018. If every single one of Djokovic's games were five-set marathons - they weren't - he would have covered around 260 miles. Tavernier will be somewhere between 400-500 miles covered in games in 2018.

I actually think his defending has improved consideratly, and even when not playing well he"s still a major threat going forward, there is much more to be concerned about in the team than Tav, but unfortunately some just seem to have a hate on for him.

The Dude got a reaction from BloodRunsBlue in Criticism of Rangers' transfer record is over the top and Premiership table proves it
After a pretty rough couple of weeks for Steven Gerrard's side, Rangers again rose to the top of the Premiership table on Sunday after a nervy 1-0 win over Hamilton at Ibrox as they looked to get over recent disappointments against Aberdeen, Dundee and Rapid Vienna.
With the European campaign over for the season, all focus now turns to the domestic scene as Gerrard looks to lead his side to their first title since 2011 - but I was left scratching my head in bewilderment reading Gordon Parks' MailSport column yesterday as he described Rangers' league showing so far as 'grim' while taking aim at Gerrard for praising Ibrox director of football Mark Allen for his work in the transfer market over the summer.

If they're still paying me for a column (they are) there's no chance that there's anything wrong financially that would see the likes of Jackson out of a job. Believe it or not but not seeing a print copy of a newspaper and thinking it's a sign of their demise is a bit like thinking the cars are on their way out because you've no seen a Datsun Sunny in a while. The internet is a massive thing now and there is far more focus on that than there is print. Print limits your audience to where you have physical copies - 30 years ago few folk outside the UK will have seen a Record - now I get folk from literally all around the world reading my shit.
Papers need to do about 10x the views online compared to print to balance out the difference in income per reader based on a survey done be Deloitte last year (£124 - print/£15 - digital) and looking at the circulation figures of papers then that would appear to be a piece of piss. The Record get around 125,000 paid print readers every day. Doing 1.25million clicks would be a piece of piss.

I like the article so good job there The Dude.It is great when we actually get two different viewpoints in the press rather than the current pro celtic vs weak defence of Rangers/ almost neutral stances. When you used facts and examples like you do here this is when you can change perceptions or at least make the other side look at it without being blinkered.Keep writing these types of articles when you can because partizan reporting alienates but balanced news informs.

Good article Dude. As we know, Parks needs to justify himself at the rhodent, so talking/writing about Rangers sells papers. That’s what I see.
