TFP77 reacted to Bakbear in Berra blasts Lafferty
This is, like dignified silence, an outdated mindset which belongs in a pre-internet age.
propaganda is now beamed direct into people’s minds on multiple devices.
I don’t advocate becoming needy “everyone please love us” snowflake mentality but we damn well better challenge injustice and inequality

I can’t help think it’s all a wee bit sinister.
No one else gets shit for celebrating.
We just beat the early season pace setters on their own patch to go top of the league for the first time since 2011 and we go to our own fans to celebrate the result. How is this in any way a problem
the reason it feels sinister is because it is singling out one group of people for different treatment and everyone agreeing that it’s ok to do it because it’s Rangers.
This is absolutely prejudiced. Call it bigotry or sectarianism or whatever but Rangers are being marginalised and treated differently. It’s on the back of years of dehumanising Rangers and it’s fans and painting them as evil or somehow lesser than everyone else.
it is a dark path

He offers goals and the ability to keep the ball and has an end product.
The players you mentioned above are not as good as him.

TFP77 reacted to PRW. in Scott Arfield
I can see why people have been a bit disappointed at times, but he is literally the only midfield player we have that is capable of running past the striker. He is intelligent, finds space, gets beyond the striker, links up with Morelos well and has now scored 5 goals.

A fit Scott Arfield is absolutely vital to our team. MOTM today.

TFP77 reacted to tannerall in Ryan Jack
Jack shows the most awareness in the team and often breaks down potentially difficult opposition attacks simply by knowing where to be. Holds the ball well and looks for the decent pass. He impressed me again today, head and shoulders above the rest, was shocked when him and Candeias were taken off.

TFP77 reacted to The Moonlighter in The Founders Who Continued to Follow Follow.
During our early research into the lives of the kids who formed Rangers we were curious to find if they attended matches later in life to witness first hand how this seed that they had planted at Fleshers Haugh in 1872 had now grown into a huge football institution.
We had discovered that the great Tom Vallance was present on the very day that our magnificent Main Stand opened in 1929. Tom was also a guest of the Club in 1933 for the New Year’s Day game against celtic and again when we entertained Sporting Club of Vienna later that month.
Just recently our research has discovered this newspaper article from 1905 which mentions both Tom Vallance and Moses McNeil making the pilgrimage to Hampden for the Scottish Cup Final against Third Lanark .
This is two of the teenage boys who were there during those first few days of our Club supporting the Club, both now in their fifties.
It must have given them both an incredible sense of achievement and satisfaction.

TFP77 reacted to Reformation Bear in Stevie G " Every player is for sale"
Seems to me a spade is called a spade in Mr Gerrard's book. No need to dance around the niceties of things. If clubs want to make a bid for Rangers players then don't fuck about with mickey mouse bids. Its serious bids or fuck off is basically the message that Mr G is putting out there to deter the time wasters who think they can now poach on the cheap. A Rangers player with a Gerrard stamp of coaching and football leadership is a damn sight more valuable than under wobbly Warburton, or a stumbling Pedro or a 'haven't got a clue' Murty, or a laugh a minute McCoist. A 'managed by Gerrard' addition to a players CV, and with Rangers performing well in Europe adds value to players and I think that is what Mr Gerrard is reminding other clubs.
In the same way he was saying that if teams pitch up and want a war they'll get a war, if clubs pitch up with nonsense undervaluations they'll get the verbal equivalent of war.
A point we need to remember though it its not just players that other clubs might come for. Mr Gerrard's managerial star is very much on the rise and almost bound to start tempting clubs to make a bid to tempt him out of Rangers. Now that'd take more money than any of us could probably make a realistic guess at...…….and miles and miles and miles more than the most valuable players we have.

TFP77 reacted to Spliffy in Strange people within our support
It's a shame as we are a broad church in terms of support, but in this political landscape where we are being dehumanised and our culture constantly under attack, these people who wear our colours would rather side with those who despise us. It's disappointing more than anger, they just don't see the bigger picture. Turkey's voting for Christmas. You would've thought the recent fanzone bias would have woken a few of the stupid cunts up.

Mate I’ve got a big fuck off Rangers Crest on my gate, I’ve got a Rangers tattoo on my arm, I’m an old cunt who can’t fight anymore but I’m proud of my Grandfathers team, my Fathers team, my team my kids and grand kids team. If people don’t like it they can fuck right off. Any cunt ever says to me (it’s not happened yet) I’m a Rangers fan but I’m not a bigot and I swear to fuck I’ll bounce my old Protestant head right off their fucking nose.
My Only Crime Is Loyalty.

Yeah that's why we need normal folk in there, I always find that with that lot all you need to do is stand up and they shit themselves.
We are not looking for folks to go in and cause trouble, we are looking for folks to go in with a fair, honest and open mind.

TFP77 reacted to NeoGeo7 in If?
Because as soon as we started winning games the hype train was well and truly out of the station and many believed it would be a piece of cake for 55 and we’d easily beat them.
However, ask yourself this......when we didn’t put more than one past Ufa in the first leg how many of us were disappointed because it meant we couldn’t rest players in the second leg because we wanted them fresh for today?
Furthermore, when a Ejaria scored in Russia how many of us thought yes, tie over, we can relax and rest some players in the second half.
instead for the first time since the st Mirren league cup final in 2010 we had to play with 9 men and battle like never before to get through to the group stages. We welcome our squad home as heroes and warriors and yet no one then thought maybe we w \ont be able to press them that hard on a Sunday.
expectations never lowered despite the fact we were already a) tired and then had to play with 9 men for 30 odd minutes and 10 for 60.
were we good enough today? no
is the season over? No
People need to look at this game in context rather than in isolation.

The Shitebags patter is grim. Bunch of players that passed various tough European tests... I think they've earned us not resorting to that tired old insult quite yet.

Was night and day from recent performances against them. Sure they had most possession but in the 2nd half when we tried to get amongst it, I was optimistic. I'm disappointed with the loss but I still see a bright future with this squad.

Admittedly we were shite the day but we get another 3 cracks at the cunts and the advantage was with them. Nothing decided the day. It’s about how we react. On we go..?⚪️?
