Honestly think the aim should be to get rid of the longer term players. 
We've got guys in this squad that have routinely failed under 3 different managers.
We know the script as well they'll suddenly turn up again to impress Clement but go missing when it come down to the pressure games. 
We really need a fresh break from the 55/Gerrard era players.

Any manager coming in is facing those same issues. That's the situation we've been left in by Beale.
That doesn't make Clement a bad appointment. One of the things that stands out when looking at his previous work is an ability to go in and get improved results immediately. Something we need badly.
The hope is with an experienced manager at the helm now Clement can implement a clear structure of play to get better from what we have. There clearly wasn't one under beale 
Longer term I think he needs to rid himself of the Gerrard/55 era. Guys like Goldson, Tav, Barasic etc the 2nd best mentality is too ingrained.

Goldson woeful.

Goldson's getting worse though. He threw in the towel at halftime against Hibs, but he gave up in the 9th minute in Cyprus! 

Goldson is and never has been good enough, we should have bought a better centre half than him, to pair with him to start with,  that has always been the problem

Still remember his interview after losing to Hibs 3-1 and he had gave up before half time. I don't think his mentality has changed and he more or less gave up in Limassol. That mentality appears to run through the team.

Never saw what others did with this guy. He was always overrated in my view. Ducks behind strikers rather than jumping for headers, loses men he's meant to be marking, fails to cut off cross balls. I was happy when his contract was winding down, and looking forward to seeing him depart at the end of that season. Then we gave him a new contract ...

He’s not way worse than Goldson. Yes, he’s prone to a lapse in concentration and the occasional howler, just as Goldson is. IMO Souttar is more commanding in the air, stronger in the tackle and more comfortable bringing the ball out of defence: where exactly  is Goldson way better?

Does it all the time. Very rarely attempts to win a header when defending a corner/set piece.

There are times he just doesn't do the basics and switches off.
Needs to be gone alongside the rest of the players who have been here residing over mediocrity over the last 5 or so years. Their insipid attitude and willingness to accept 2nd place seeps through the squad.

See when the new manager does come in and we get a bit of a bounce, I hope we remember how much these cunts are shitebags and get them punted in the summer, Tavernier, Goldson, Barasic, lundstram and many more. 

Him and Butland were the only ones trying to at least drive their teammates on.
