Another example is during today's match, why wasn't anyone being a cunt and pointing out to Walsh that O'Reilly was still walking about with blood streaming out his nose and he should be off again until they've managed to control it? Even if it just got him off the pitch for another 5 minutes then it's all these wee things that count.

Their players look like they relish these games whereas our players want them out the way

But I think it's not only a defeated mentality but also from the point we got back into the Premier League they've always looked far more up for these games, far more aggressive and far more eager to make us eat shit. Whereas it feels like our team, while not being limp wristed, don't tackle these games with the same mentality.

Exactly.  They are supposed to be a full time professional organisation.  Surely the right thing to do is have a standing meeting, say every Monday to look at appeals. If there are non then just use the time for something else.  Swapping and changing dates, fast tracking some and not others looks slightly suspicious and leaves them open to allegations of bias.

I don't understand the rules for why one appeal gets fast tracked and others don't. It seems like someone just decides we're doing it spuriously to take advantage of the rule that frees the player up while the appeal is going through and so they should fast track it coz there's no way we're winning the appeal and they want the player banned for the next game.

I think that's probably a fair challenge. If they just can't stop losing more important games than they win then they do deserve that tag.

I just feel like not enough is made of these or that the guys don't appreciate how big a chance it was. Like the Lammers one at Aberdeen, that was a match-winning, gilt-edged chance. He should've been devastated but it felt more just like it was a regular half chance midway through the game or something.

Affording those players and getting some of the junk out the door to pay for them is another matter.

We had a chink of hope when Clement arrived and managed to get a tune out of them for a few games.
We thought maybe the league, Europe was again going to be achievable.
But as is normal with this lot, they revert to type within a few games.
It's the hope that kills you, and this mob have took us up to the mountain top and quickly back down again so many times that it is getting harder and harder to support and back them.
