To be fair, I think he hoped that Morelos and Kent would relish a final chance to shine, get through to meet Inverness and sail off as Scottish Cup winners.
His faith in these two was, not for the first time, utterly misplaced. He’s an idiot if he picks either again.
Having said that, if he had decent (not even great, just decent) alternatives, he might have gone that way.
Tactically, he got it right and pressing, combined with Tillman nullifying McGregor, made it closer than we’ve been recently but the lack of quality in depth is horrendous.
We all agree that the squad needs gutted and I cling to the fact that Cantwell and Raskin have turned out well as an indication of who else he might bring in.
McGregor, McLaughlin, Barisic, Davies, Helander, Kamara, Lundstram, Tillman, Jack, Davis, Kent, Morelos, Wright, Sakala, Matondo, Hagi - they won’t all go but I’d  not cry myself to sleep if every one was sold/released OOC.
Have to hope his next recruits are of the Raskin/Cantwell calibre.

Clancy, Davies and Souter cost us the points yesterday not Beale, i think Beale knows what he want and hopefully he will get the players next year to set up and play how he wants against them. you can see how he wants to play but i don't think he has the right quality for it.  People saying celtic were shit again yesterday, for me thats down to Beals tactics.
