It looks like he’s leaving and I think I speak for everyone when I say it’s been an absolute pleasure having a model professional like Jermain Defoe as our number 9.
He’s ‘got it’ since he walked through the door and he did what he set out to do by bringing the league trophy home to its rightful place. He’s been an objectively brilliant signing for us and scored many important goals for the club - including a landmark goal against the scum.
He’s one of my favourite Rangers players of the modern era who we got to enjoy in the twilight of his outstanding career.
Wish him all the very best & he’ll always be welcome back to Ibrox. He leaves with his head held high as a good Rangers man.
 

Play in Liverpool.  Would love to see 54000 Bears in Anfield.  Would make a change to a 200 mile trip the other way for home games. 
And….Liverpool can’t field a team at present so the ground is available.

It's a good move for everyone involved.  The finance is right for us, the player and he will become the best right back at his new club.  I really hope he does well not only for him but to ensure that we continue to get good value for any of our players that are moved on, while also ensuring that we continue to attract the best players possible for the league we play in.

Comes down to pitch size. Anfield is 101 x 68 metres, Ibrox is  105 x 68 metres.  So we could add a couple of rows at each end for Euro games without a problem.
Where we are missing a trick is not making the pitch wider for SPFL games.  Add 3 metres each side and stretch the teams that sit deep. 

Won't go as far as terrified but I'll be cautious.
Even if the lead extends comfortably beyond the 6, all it takes is a run of bad covid luck to fuck us over.
