I wasn't Cummimgs biggest fan when he was at Hibs, he scored a lot of goals but did very little other than that, all his goals came in the 2nd tier too which made me wonder whether his all round game would improve in the Premiership, he's here now though and made a decent start to his Rangers career as far as goals are concerned, I still see the same limitations in his game I originally worried about and I fully believe Morelos is miles ahead of him in terms of ability however I think he brings something to the squad that no many of our players have, an unwavering self confidence, I also think he's the type of player in the dressing room we've lacked for so long, I think he could do well here but we need to play to his strengths and sticking him up top alone just won't do.

The silver lining to that would mean that mob don't win the treble again then, I'd take that the now.

I want the best manager available, Jack Ross has done well but its still untested in the top tier, I do think he should be in the conversation though, young manager with plenty of fresh ideas and a system that is entertaining.

In all honesty I probably would be underwhelmed by his appointment but that shouldn't necessarily be a bad thing, I'm sure if the Internet was available back in 91 a lot of folk would've been underwhelmed at the thought of an assistant manager with no previous experience as a number one taking over from Greame Souness.

I’m sorry I’m no looking for an argument but it has to be said the ones who called him for everything and took Pedro’s bullshit as gospel need to hang their heads in shame.
That aside that performance today was what we’ve been crying out for - that’s what a back to basics competent manager brings you.
The second half we had belief and fight which is all we’ve been lacking .. that and some basic organisational skills
I’m not a fan of his overall but wee Holt was superb covered every blade and was winning 50-50’s with ease
Those full backs of ours though .. anguish
but to end on a positive young McCrorie was superb a mature showing - couple of stray passes aside. Him and Alves need to play for an understanding to develop imo

I agree with this, I was told over a year ago that King didn't want Warburton, he wanted a Rangers man in as manager but due to the feelings amongst the fans he was talked into appointing someone fresh with no prior connections to Rangers so when everything went tits up for him I just assumed King would revert to his original thought process and go for a guy that would know what Rangers was all about but would perhaps be uninspiring to the fans.

This is why I wanted McInnes, he got Aberdeen playing way above their station and knows this league inside out, he also knows the tims inside out too, whether he would win us the League or not is another matter but I always felt that the next man would have a smoother transition to taking us back to the title if we had someone like McInnes to steady the ship and push us on initially.

I wasn't even aware of the record against them until this Season, I knew they hadn't beat us since the 90s but before 2012 it wasn't something many gave a fuck about, everyone loses to everyone in this League at some point, I'd rather get it out the road when we were totally pish than a year we could be genuinely challenging for the title.

The Season was so shite that we began clinging onto any old shite stat in the hope it gave us something to be proud of - getting destroyed by the tims at Ibrox was heartbreaking, the sheep? nah they ain't and never will be important enough

Thats my point mate, last season we were so shite we began clinging on to any shite stat to give ourselves a target when all else had failed, some will feel differently but being unbeaten by them at Ibrox wasn't something I'd be proud of, its something that I'd expect, maybe being unbeaten between 91-94 when they were actually good was something to shout about but after 93-94 they were as much of a threat as St Mirren or Thistle, it's hard to even enjoy bamming their fans up as its felt like such a one sided stacked deck it just wasn't satisfying.

Don't get me wrong, beating them in December was a brilliant feeling as we were genuine rivals for 2nd and the atmosphere in Ibrox that day was electric but even then it was hollow in that it felt more like 'we're less shite than you' instead of 'we're better than you'

Sheep fans are delibrately antagonising, the attention Rangers fans give them gives off the impression they are of importance when in reality they're an irrelevance, we give them a platform they crave and don't deserve, its Aberfuckingdeen, shite for all but 5 year of their history
