Wee Jinky, unfortunately for his wife and daughters, tended to get a wee bit too emotional when he was drinking, which apparently was often seen around venues in Hamilton. Needless to say this part of his story is conveniently forgotten about when they go all misty eyed when recalling tales of how Wee Jimmy inspired lost tribes of the Upper Amazon to become Sellik supporters after watching Jinky on TV. Another example of that Club doing everything to protect its good name, compare and contrast with the deserved criticism that Gazza copped when evidence of similar appalling behaviour came to light.

Flicking over the back pages in Tesco earlier this morning, and the Record journo was seething with his exclusive about Atletico wearing replicas of the shirts they wore at the Piggery 50 years ago when they gave the wee wife beater and his pals an almighty kicking, literally.
If this is indeed to be the case then all I can say is, well done, Shithousery of the finest kind, but with the caveat that I hope that you can back up your 'outrageously inflammatory gesture' with your actions on the field.

Obviously got to be plan and ambition, win all the home games with a point thrown in on Thursday should be enough to hopefully nullify the prospect of having to get something in Seville, which given our terrible record in Spain, is a prospect to be avoided if at all possible.

Would be a nice to cap off the weekend with Them dropping points but given their recent record there and the fact that the Hearts defence could not keep a cat out of a close, I will not be holding my breath. What will be interesting though will be seeing how the Goon Brigade manage to shame themseves yet again. Despite the very small allocation for the away support and the supposed ban on the Goons, they will find some way to behave in their usual odious manner.

Yeah, seems to have a bee in his bonnet with this issue, I think our squad will be doing a lot, lot more running and weights than they have become used to in the coming weeks and months, I would imagine Van Der Hayden will probably take the lead with this task, if looks are anything to go by he will put a rocket up those arses that need it.

Well that is encouraging, I know that in reality there is no such thing as the law of averages, however some may choose to believe that a win in Prague is overdue. I was at Sparta 91/92 not long after the iron curtain fell, it was still basically a Communist country and we were like millionaires, it was something like 10p for a litre, yes litre not pint of what in my opinion is the best beer in the World. Those making the journey to Prague are in for a treat beer wise but I imagine that it will be a bit more expensive now, and given that our last two trips there have not exactly been cordial, I would imagine that the natives will not be so friendly.
After the last horror show in the group I was fearing the worst, but now that we seem to have someone in charge who can actually organize a team, I am hopeful if not overly confident of getting the overdue win in Prague and setting us up nicely for the return fixture.

Token gesture. As before the GB will be told that they have been very naughty bhoys and have been grounded for a couple of weeks. Give it a month and that scum will be back in place at the Piggery with all of their usual non political, non sectarian, non terrorist loving, but of course absolutely political, sectarian and terrorist supporting bullshit.

That is what we are all expecting and quite frankly demanding, and as you said with the squad we have we should be turning over every team we play domestically, and within reason in Europe at Ibrox as a matter of course. That would not be a miracle. A miracle would be us doing the Treble and going very deep into the Europa with one eye on making UEFA and The Republic of Eeries's  worst nightmare come true by qualifying for the final in Dublin.

Must admit that I am a wee bit surprised that there does not seem to have been the stampede of the usual suspects from that mhob to pour scorn on the appointment of Philippe Clement. Perhaps the blogs and social media posts have just not come to light yet, or perhaps, just perhaps, some of the less rabid among them realize, that at long last, we may, just may have finally got ourselves a manager who may prove himself worthy (time will tell of course) of the job?

Nah they'll be waiting until he doesn't win a game. Then you'll see the likes of Hartson, Sutton, Martin (McGuire), Stewart, Guidi and McManus all do their usual pile on. Unfortunately for us the manager can only pish with the cock he's got, a lot of bears realise that and will give him time to get it right.

Had a gander on the Hearts Kickback forum, consensus seems to be that 15 to 18k will be the most they will sell, this will give them the east stand and a third of the main stand. I think that this will see the whole North stand be allocated to the Bears.

Spoke well, seems to be confident and knows what he has got himself into, making it clear that there will be bad days ahead with no instant fix, but confident of ultimate success. Up to you now Philippe to walk the walk, give the Bears a sign that you can turn things around and they will back you to the hilt.
