I have my doubts about gio but he’s been dealt a shitty hand by his DOF.

The thing is you need to reach this level to get the money but you are going to be beaten.
The key thing is to invest that money wisely and we haven’t done anything of the sort. Best summer signing is injured and was a bosman signing anyway. The players we have paid for with the exception of Colak have offered little to nothing.
I think we seriously need a better recruitment department, Wilson and the scouts need to go. I think Gio gets a another 4-5 games to give him time to turn it around, if not he has to go. Wilson has had SIX windows and look at the lineup tonight, fucking scandalous.

The Director of Football model will work if you a) get a good director of football and a good scouting network and b) you have a good coach with sound tactical knowledge with the ability to adapt their lineup.
We have neither so we are staring at 3 windows that have squandered the cash we have to spend, fucking shambles.
