  1. It's only a symbolic gesture but it's a start. You want change then do something about it.
  2. Boyd had said nothing in that article that anyone with an ounce of common sense can't see for themselves. Bottom line is .... THIS BOARD IS TO BLAME for where we are. The decision making has been nothing short of deplorable and will cost us for years to come. We were promised "transparent governance" and investment and what did we get? No one was more delighted than me when they managed to prize Ashley's grip from the tills but as far as I can see that was the last thing they actually got right. The longer we (the support) allow them to remain at the helm the longer we can look forward to more of the same.....its that simple. We have allowed ourselves to morph into some sort of joke figure of a club all too reminiscent of ce**ic of the 90's Forget all talk of we deserve better, we've been through enough already. I'm more than sure the hardest part is still to come. To move forward though we have to realise this current board have failed us miserably and will continue to fail us if left unchallenged. That's it guys. The writing has been on the wall for long enough for those who care enough to look. If you have any hopes of dragging our once proud club out of the malaise we find ourselves in then understand this... Action is what's needed here not more words because we've had enough of that already.
  3. Whoever comes in as manager this is where you start. No need to over think this one. The goalkeeper is fundamental to any successful title winning team and unfortunately Fod has proved beyond doubt he doesn't have what's required here. Solid centre half's, combative midfielders, and clinical striker's all come after the No.1 situation is sorted out. Get this right and then build from the back.......end of.
  4. The big guy has become a symbol of the sub standard players who litter our squad. The sight of him diving despondently for shots he's no chance of reaching has an become an almost weekly feature of our play. 90% of the time that's down to God awful positioning so all those who describe him as a "good shot stopper" just take a wee look at the recurring goals he concedes then have a word with yourself.
  5. Too fucking right enough is enough. We need wholesale change from the top down, it needs immediate action and nobody is going to do it for us. We are a fucking shadow of the club we all love. I don't have all the answers all I can say is that's rock bottom for me now.
  6. Correct. Every year that passes in this current STATE tarnishes the entire history of our club Imo. We're nothing more than a fucking laughing stock for the fenians and that cannot continue. If Smith genuinely feels he could help restore Rangers back to a competitive force then he should make his voice heard and the sooner the better. I'm sorry but in my opinion he should have been installed the moment Warburton's number was up. So there it is, I've said it. Rangers means more to me than any individual's reputation. If we are to believe this board will spend significant funds on players this summer then there's no one I'd trust more than Smith to make best use of those funds. Certainly more than anybody mentioned on the so called management shortlist. The man knows what it takes to win a title and crucially he knows how to trump those manky cunts.
  7. Exactly this. How in the blue fuck can you honour an organisation that's totally bereft of honor? .........exactly! Let's put any more talk of this utter nonsense to bed and close this one down please.
  8. Just about THE most ludicrous suggestion I've ever read on here. As somebody has already stated ,if anyone associated with our club is even considering honouring that shower of fucks in ANY way whatsoever then I'm done with Rangers for good.
  9. This clubs support should be well down the road with a put up or shut up ultimatum for King. If he can't provide the necessary investment (as promised) then he should be removed. Fuck t.i.a.r if that's what it takes, we cannot continue like this...... End of.
  10. Yep I get that, I'm as guilty as the next guy when it comes to talking Rangers. What I'd like to think however is we as a support can force through the necessary changes that will see us create new memories. Given what we've been through I'm hoping that's sooner rather than later.
  11. It's brilliant to reminisce when you're still on top but anybody else notice there's more and more threads about what we've done rather than what we're going to do. I remember how pathetic the taigs used to sound when spouting off about the past when we were in front and me thinking aye OK ya sad cunts. Cant help but feel this seemingly never ending shit fest has somehow ground us down to the point where the past is all we seem to talk about. Nothing wrong with recalling you're best memories as a bear, increasingly though I feel our full attention needs focused more on returning this institution of ours back to where it should be rather than where we've been. Don't mean to derail the thread OP but this has been grinding me for a while.
  12. Guys like Pena are the polar opposite to Ray Wilkins. Pena has a Billy big baws ego and swagger but simply can't be arsed with the discipline of football and it shows in both his performances and his achievements in the game. Wilkins on the other hand was the consummate professional. He enjoyed success at some of the most illustrious clubs in Europe, amassed over 80 caps representing his county (including World cups) yet remained as humble as a church mouse.
  13. Away back to the pedodome ya beed rattling nappy ripper.
  14. If the BBC is a piller of this country then God help us all. Every bit as repulsive as the parochial wee Scottish version but for different reasons....... ............. Yes really.
  15. Never said he was. The suggestion was he'd knocked back the Scotland job at the first time of asking.
  16. Not entirely true. By all accounts Smith was sounded out about the Scotland job and intimated he'd be interested. From what I understand It was the dithering and uncertainty from the SFA afterwards that changed his mind.
  17. Failure is an ongoing expense which brings increasing financial pressure with each passing year. So that then begs the question.......... If King had made good on his original promise of investment, would it have worked out cheaper in the long run than all these costly blunders? They say you get what you pay for, so seriously then....... Surely by the time you add up all the money wasted on sub standard players and management he could have saved himself, or more importantly saved us a relative fortune.
  18. Gordon is no Manuel Neuer let's agree on that at least. It chokes me to admit it though but I stand by what I said . He is a far superior keeper to Fod in every part of his game. Big wes is an honest big guy but his poor positional sense costs Rangers time and again and has done since he arrived. Some choose to blame the inferior defenders he's had to endure in front of him but for me that's only been contributary to a lot of the goals we lose. Good keepers make the big saves at crucial times in a match and I'm sorry but my opinion of the big man hasn't changed much since he came here. Rangers need a better more reliable goalkeeper than Foderingham if we are to topple these cunts.
  19. Scoring then disappearing seems to be the main gripe when it comes to Windass. It's almost as if he believes his job is done If I were to attempt an explanation into why this happens I'd say he lacks the pure desire to be a winner first and fore most. All teams need players who fkn hate to lose but sadly for us we have too many in the team who simply don't possess that quality. Windass most definitely comes into that category and until he learns its not only about him things will never change. Results are what Rangers are all about not individuals. Sometimes during the course of the game you need to put the team first. Be it scraping for the ball, being more tenacious in the tackle, pressing hard or even taking one for the team by throwing your body in the way if it means denying your opponent an advantage. From what I can see the boy's an athlete and is as fit as anybody in the squad so he's really no excuses at all. This is the easy part of the game ffs Josh. Regardless of his goal tally (which is fantastic btw) he needs to up his commitment to this team ten fold. Only then will he be fully accepted by this support and for his own sake I sincerely hope Murty has been ramming that down his throat all week. No softly softly approach required here or arm round the shoulder stuff. It's a boot up the arse he needs with the threat of more to come until he gets it. He needs to learn what it takes to succeed here and scoring goals is only a part of it.
  20. Look Murty never covered himself in glory with his tactical choices on Sunday but piss poor defending from sub standard players cost us the points..... ....... That's it! No need to label either manager a fkn genius or a dunce.
  21. No point in kidding yourself, Gordon is a far superior keeper to Fod in every aspect of his game. Granted he's nowhere near the class of yesteryear but I'd wager he'd have got to the first and third easily enough. Could have and should have been between the sticks for us on Sunday were it not for the idiocy of the previous regime.
  22. Aye because we suddenly got fed up singing the billy boys and ftp after 140 odd years so decided it was high time we gave it up eh? The SNP were pandering to their electorate, pure and Simple. Think you will find there's not many of them attend Ibrox on a Saturday. No, there's no doubt in my mind exactly who forced this shit through. The problem for them was they very quickly realised they'd shot themselves in the foot because they were unable to keep their own fkn house in order. Never better exemplified than the day when effigies of orangemen were seen hanging from the stands at torbett towers. With that in mind I think its safe to say it wasn't only the SNP who gave no thought to the consequences.
  23. Predictable and pathetic. Did nothing but bleat about this for years and years to silence the big bad Rangers only to find its done them more harm than good. So........ let's get it repealed, Its the Catholic way. Never mind eh? A bit of a rethink, a few tweaks here and there with OBFA 2 should see the desired affect. Fk every last one of them.
  24. Foderingham comes out because he sees Cardoso struggling and obviously has no confidence in him to deal with the situation. Still cringing like fuck with the ineptitude of both for that goal tbh. Instances like that only makes you appreciate what we've always took for granted in the shape of your Gough's, Goram's etc. These two are not alone but there truly are some genuine imposters wearing our jersey these days.
