Beale needs to remove the shackles he puts on some players to cover for fullbacks whilst ensuring that these fullbacks contribute more defensively. He definitely needs to let players play to their strengths.

He can not try and contain and show too much respect, he needs to let the players play their game and have a go.  He will not be sacked if the unthinkable happens but he will lose the fans if it does. 

Beale keeps with the same players and they make the same idiotic defensive blunders then his job is on a shaky peg, he changes it and it doesn’t work his job is on a shaky peg.

The fact we've been able to bring in 9 players, with at least three of them commanding serious transfer fees (for us), seemingly without relying on board members or loans to finance the deals is a really good thing.
The shareholder investments of the previous years was designed to get us to a place like this. 
Being able to do this without receiving fees for Morelos and Kent is even better. Obviously it could have been better if Wilson had actually done his job in previous years.
We can all grumble about how this money has been spent and whether we have got it right is another debate, but I don't think we can say we haven't given the guy in charge the ability to undertake an overhaul.

Walter knew how to treat scottish football like the shithole it was, apart from a few away grounds and the tarrier games he played 4-4-fucking-2 with defenders that defend midfielders that attack and two up front one of whom is a worker to provide space and movement while the other was a penalty box predator

Only reason i didnt mention barisic is because others didn't, ive said lots of times he's got to go as well
As for tav, thats two managers he's been captain for now and the loser mentality is running through the squad, lets not pretend his captaincy under previous manager was any better,

Last season is gone, this season will be soon unless Gio gets the team consistently playing well and to do so he needs to sort himself put with many faults so far.

I'd start by looking at our fitness, intensity and shape from last pre season compared to from this pre season.
This is Gios squad and team, his style, and the enthusiasm / effort / style / press etc are on Gio.
No way can he and players deservedly get credit for last season but he gets excuses made for him now. He/we don't have time to do a rebuild around 3 youths. He needs to win the league or at the very least start showing progression that we are absolutely capable.

The long balls to Tavernier’s head reminded me of the same tactic aiming punts for Whittaker.
And why do we fanny about left to right to left to right and THEN punt it instead of doing it quickly before the opposition have had time to organise themselves?

Professional football players not being capable of a 10-yard pass or having any sense of commitment to representing our club is not the fault of management. 
If we do get rid of Gio we will still be left with the same issues and no better off. We need to rip the team up, bring in Lowry, King and McCann. Build a team around them, get a new captain and give Gio time.

Tavernier especially, being captain of the club, should be ashamed of the performances he is putting in for us

Aye, okay, I get Matundo has to improve slightly on what we have seen so far, but I'm not writing him off yet.
We still IMO have the strongest squad we have had in over a decade IMO.
Our second team would convincingly come 3rd in the SPFL.
They are favourites for the league, but I don't think things are nearly as bad as many are making out. Keep it together and there is nothing to say we won't be up there at the end of the season.
 

That was honestly the most complete performance of football I have seen in a long long time from us. 
I have a good good feeling about this season now that the new players are setting into the system.

3rd place is doable, 2nd is worth a little thought. Hopefully Liverpool at Ibrox on game 6 when they are already through and we can take points off the other two.

That will be the youth team into the group stages of the UEFA Youth League alongside it with mirrored matches against whoever we are drawn against.
