Hutton2008 reacted to Laudrupsleftfoot in Dorrans
His legs have gone and I said somewhere else he looks like a 36 year old veteran out there.

He is. He’s a Myth. Don’t be deluded. We will talk about this again once his Rangers career has ended and he’s playing in the English championship.

No he isn’t. He has done nothing for years. There’s was no battle for his signature, no other clubs interested. We were sold a lemon.
The board had to have him because he’s Rangers through and through, played in the EPL in the past and get people who haven’t watched him in the championship excited.
I said he would do nothing and he is the Scotland national teams 7 best central midfielder when he signed. And regardless of deluded supporters all evidence from the season proves sadly I was right. FACT.

My fucking arse. Andy Halliday cares only about Andy Halliday. A big mouthed prick who I honestly cannot wait to see the back off.

Some players are limited in their ability but recognise their limitations which at least gives you something to work with,Halliday in my opinion thinks he's a really good player with no limitations therefore for me there is absolutely nothing there for a manager to work with.

Too much importance gets placed on having Rangers supporters in the team and it's nonsense tbh. It counts for absolutely nothing if the talent isn't there.
We started the game with 5 boyhood Rangers fans in our team today and got annihilated by a team made up of mostly foreigners and, to my knowledge, only one boyhood celtic fan in their starting 11.

He is. A prolific Scottish Championship striker and nothing more.
He's skinny Waghorn. In fact, Waghorn is better.

Morelos is a grossly over rated fucking idiot and the sooner he is gone the better, if any cunt is daft enough to actually give us any money for him.

Hutton2008 reacted to ronniemca in Mcrorie myth
A lot of people stating (or making excuses for his display) that he is not a c/ h. He has played c/h for us and his country at all levels with the occasional runs at right back .he has never been a defensive midfielder in his life.but all of a sudden he seems to be the answer to our midfield.he does not have the composure on the ball to control the tempo of play for a defensive midfielder in my opinion and c/ h is his position all be it he has an awful lot to learn in that position.not helped by playing beside a fuckin bombs are like Martin right enough.

Salary. Are we spending £1-2m a year on a gaffer right now? Especially when he would want/need cash for summer transfer window.
As rightly pointed out earlier - the days of appointing managers with footballing philosophy’s who cannot grind out results is gone. 10 in a row is too close and money isn’t there for that kind of gamble

Hutton2008 reacted to kaiser1041 in Mccrorie and Dorrans
Mcrorrie cost us 2 goals and Dorrans has been a passanger in 90# of his games for us
listen I said at that time with young Ross we were too high on him.he needs time to grow and make these mistakes he in my mind will become a great player but we need to let him develop
its not as if he in a good team

I don't think he's the man for this job.
Too much of a gamble in my opinion. If we get this decision wrong 10 IAR is done and dusted - 100%

There was a reason we brought in loan players in January - we have very little money. FdB could not operate with the shite in our squad

Aye brilliant. Spend over £1m per year on a manager who has done nothing for years now just because he was a legendary player.
Firstly we couldn’t afford FDB, and I will not believe we can until he’s in the dugout. Secondly do you think a man of his stature is looking at the current crop of players and thinking he can improve them and realistically challenge the bheasts? Nope.
Fact is we struggle to compete with them when they are at there worst - and that’s horrific. We need significant investment for the third year running and I honestly don’t think the current board have the cash. Remember our financial fair play obligations so mortgaging out our ST cash is unlikely.
One man who can get consistent results with a bunch of below average players is Steve Clarke. Ability to work wonders, coaching pedigree, experience and cost are all pluses and to tell you the truth only his (alleged) support for the mhanky mob.
