Every game is massive according to Muff.

On this occasion, I agree.

If we win/draw the league is as good as over.

Every game, especially at this stage of the season is massive. We cannot afford to drop points (lose in this case).

Having a 10 point lead would suggest that we do not have to win every week.

As long as we dont lose both games against Celtic, we will be in a great position.

I'd much rather be in our position than Celtic's.

A lot of the games we play from now to the end of the season will be vital to keep momentum going, but we are not going into any game thinking "If we lose or draw this game, the league is over"

Let's hope the players aren't thinking that.

I hope we wrap this league up ASAP!

Not sure about starting Novo, hes better comming on as a sub IMO but i think he is in better form than Beasley after watchinh him take on Hibs in the first half

Will Walter set up 4-1-4-1 for this, I've just got a funny feeling he will.

It's controversial, but Boyd may just find himself on the bench.

Hope not - thought you might go for that though.

If Boyd finds himself on the bench then we can forget about any chance of keeping him

I would go with this team, Boyd never does anything in these games anyway and its more important not to lose than win.

I would pack the midfield and take control of the game my team would be.

A.McGregor

Bougherra. Weir Papac

Whittiker. Thomson McCulloch Davis Novo

Boyd Miller

don't think walter would go with a 3 at the back but I reckon this team would give Celtic a tough game.

My main concern with Davis on the right is he naturally floats inside to the middle, he would have to be more disciplined on the right like he was against Hibs recently, defensively, as Whittaker could get exposed and we really don't want that.

Anyways my team would be....

If Beasley is FULLY FIT then I would play him, if not....Lafferty!

Davis___________McCulloch______Thomson______Fleck

________________Miller________Lafferty

Broadfoot at right back because Whittaker is a shambles defensively. He was at fault for the goal we conceded in the last OF, and a few others this season.

Left side is a problem, but I've gone with Fleck because our ball retention has been poor in OF games this season. Him and Beasley are the strongest in this respect, but I just don't fancy Beasley to handle the physical element.

Boyd out because I don't expect him to improve upon his record of 1 goal in 9 Old Firm starts. He just doesn't cause enough problems in these games. Lafferty because he's the closest thing we have to a target man. Miller is the only striker we have with any pedigree in these games, so who partners him is a difficult second rate choice. Got no confidence in any of them, so hopefully Miller does the business again.

I can see this being something crazy like 3-2 to us.

Defensively we can be a bit dodgy, especially down the flanks and celtc have got some decent players going forward.

But I would say the best form of defence is attack, as their defence is a shambles and if we have a go at them we could take a right few goals off them.

The chap who mentioned Davis' indiscipline has a great point, leaving Whittaker one-on-one with McGeady is a disaster.

All this '4-5-1' and 'let's try not to get beat'.

Fuck that. Get the full side out, put a few past them, beat St Johnstone and the league is over.

I would only play a 4-5-1 if Bougherra was out. With him in the team I feel confident we can handle whatever they throw at us. :21:

Beasley on the right to let him cut in and deliver in-swinging balls right on top of the 6 yard line. Lafferty has always caused them problems on the left so would give him chance. Defence will need to be on their toes and watch out for the close off-side calls. Would love to see Boyd get a goal on Sunday and will stick in all the journo's throats if he does.
