Bob McPhail, Ian McMillan and Alan Morton are notable absentees. I vote for Alan Morton cos it's my dad's name ha ha!!!!

Well if you read the instructions right you would know that the players chosen were from 1950 onwards and Alan Morton, Bob McPhail, Sam English etc were Pre-War players

This poll is a joke when you look at the votes.

Aye mate. My comment about Caldow I think -- know -- you would agree with.

I agree with the 'spirit' of the poll -- just not the substance.

But the good thing is; it sparks debate.

Jimmy Baxter ("Pele... I just wish Baxter was born a Brazilian" ) .. oh well....

But going back to Caldow... what a player. Scotland Captain. Not entirely sure here, but was he never, ever, sent off in his career? (Remarkable as a defender...)

You are spot on as Caldow was some player, and Baxter was the king.

Never sent off, never cautioned, never even spoken to by a referee about his play.

That's in over 300 games for Rangers and Scotland.

Aye! Eric was something special...I think he could have played on 1 leg and still come away with the ball. What a backline we had in them days, eh? Captain Cutlass at R/B, Ronnie McKinnon at C/B and Eric at L/B and the Iron man himself, Harold Davis in front of them.

Absolute magic.:praise:

Manager - Struth (20,30,40,50s) Has NO rival

Goram (90s)just ahead of Bobby Brown

Caldow (50,60s)amazing full back

Meiklejohn (20,30s)No doubts whatsoever, arguably our best captain forgotten though

Gough (90s) No doubts a great leader

Greig (50,70s)what can't you say about this guy

Baxter (60s)the best for so many

Ferguson, Ian (90s)just shades it to give the team balance over others

McColl (40,50s)our most decorated player I think...

Waddell (40,50s) money can't buy a life dedicated to rangers

Millar (50s)Amazing Foil for McCoist

McCoist (80,90s)Goalscorer (best)
