The Ireland international signed for Reading in 2005 and really hit his straps in this last season by netting 23 goals in 45 matches for the Royals.Some parts of the media claim that Liverpool are interested in the striker, but is such a move likely?More recent reports highlight that Long is generating a lot of interest north of the border. Rangers are keen on the striker, but Neil Lennon may steal a march on his Glasgow rivals.I think he's a good player and would do a good job, thoughts ? Although that is jumping the gun a bit, more likely to be a non-starter.Would be gutted if he signed for Celtic, however I expect a few Premiership clubs to be sniffing about him after his season just gone.
