AyeReadyStu 70 Posted August 13, 2011 Share Posted August 13, 2011 I can see why Ally McCoist would be interested in Diego Biseswar (if he is?) - pretty similar to Wesley Verhoek.Strong, physical, quick, good feet, bit of trickery, good delivery... capable of playing both right and left, but suited more to an attacking left sided position.Not a player I can see Feyenoord letting go easily though.Fortunately Feyenoord are in no position to play hardball, they're absolutely desperate for money. They made a loss of £12m last season alone, despite having sold most of their best players. Sad to see them like that in a way, I suppose. albluenose1990 29 Posted August 14, 2011 Share Posted August 14, 2011 his wiki page says 11 goals in 88 appearances which isn't too bad considering he's a midfielder, Eredivisie is better than the SPL and that most of his appearances would have been when he was quite young, 18,19,20 ish and that many would be sub apperances too.Looks very decent IMO Got 2 in 23 last season which isn't mind blowing for a winger. You can't defend Goodwillie, though. That was a fucking shambles. We could have had him for £2 million, kept fucking about and eventually lost out to a bit of £2.8 million (apparently) a couple of months later.
