There's no way any club in the SPL would turn down 9 million pounds. Jelavic himself came out and said when he signed that he wants to play in the premiership one day. If a premiership club like Liverpool come in for him he's offski. Wee diddy team like Swansea or Blackburn, different story.

Why would Liverpool make quite a high offer for a striker who's going to be nothing more than back up. They've got Suarez, Carroll, Kuyt and Bellend who can all play striker.

After the mess we've made trying to bring players in I find it quite believable that we wouldn't sell our most valuable player at the eleventh hour without a replacement lined up; that would be complete and utter madness.

Wanker has no class. Am sure no bear will forget this little cheap shot and end of season when we win 4 in a row and can ram his words down his fucking throat!! Should be pinned on dressing room wall as a reminder of how desperate these cunts are to see us fail as there obsession with us knows no bounds

Liewell is a bigot who detests Rangers with all his being...just like his bigoted son who lost his job because of his bigotry. Bet you didn't read about that in the Record or the Sun did you?

Nope, pray explain sir.

Celtic insist no decision taken over Japan tour

Mar 27 2008

CELTIC last night insisted they are not trying to block an extension to the SPL campaign by planning an end-of-season trip to Japan.

Leaders Rangers will face a fixture pile-up if they go beyond the quarter-final stage of the UEFA Cup so putting back the final day of the SPL season - scheduled for May 18 - would allow them more time to complete their programme.

Celtic are looking into playing in Japan due to the popularity of Shunsuke Nakamura and Koki Mizuno but stress there is no link between their plans and the backlog.

A spokesperson said: "Celtic have been considering a possible invitation to tour Japan and this will be looked at in further detail over the next few weeks but no final decision has yet been taken.

"Any discussions have absolutely nothing to do with any recent debate around extending the SPL season."
