Jelavic himself came out and said when he signed that he wants to play in the premiership one day. If a premiership club like Liverpool come in for him he's offski. Wee diddy team like Swansea or Blackburn, different story. Why would Liverpool make quite a high offer for a striker who's going to be nothing more than back up. They've got Suarez, Carroll, Kuyt and Bellend who can all play striker.After the mess we've made trying to bring players in I find it quite believable that we wouldn't sell our most valuable player at the eleventh hour without a replacement lined up; that would be complete and utter madness.
