OneDavidCooper 2,505
One good game does not good player maketh. He did well yesterday but the fact remains that he isn't good enough and probably never will be.
ManchestGer 347
I didn't think he played too bad yesterday, McCulloch was gash when he came on to be fair but wouldn't surprise me if he started next week
Jonnyboyrfc 296
Thought he played v well yesterday. Did not understand the sub for jig. He was horrific when he came onSame mate I was astounded by it at the time of the substitution yesterday and into the bargain, he was absolutely woeful when he came on. Gave away the ball countless times. That substitution could have cost us the game

SirWalterSmithLegend 206
Oh, I thought it was higher than thatIm sure they were in the top 10 not so long ago, then Edu became established in their team.
adam2102 577
wish some people would try to support our players. edu has been improving vastly lately. since he arrived he has matured and has worked on his game lots. fair play to him, he was one of the better players yesterday
MikeBlue 136
wish some people would try to support our players. edu has been improving vastly lately. since he arrived he has matured and has worked on his game lots. fair play to him, he was one of the better players yesterdayHe was, but that's not really saying very much is it? We were dreadful yesterday against 10 men. It's a measure of just how bad things are that managing to get the ball under control fairly quickly, passing to one of your team mates and not getting caught out of position all the time is now reagrded as playing well.Edu is a very mediocre player and I doubt he'll ever be anything more than that
StuartM6 279
Yes, well beattie was used as an exaggeration. My point was that the USA are a really bad side, and that being an established international for them isn't really a massive accomplishment by any means. FIFA world rankings- USA 28, Scotland 55.How can you even begin to slag the US national team?Such a bad side that they got through to the last 16 of last years world cup. (A tournament that we have not been in for over 10 years)
Watson94 9
His confidence isnt going to grow if the majority of Ibrox starts greetin if he makes a mistake.Everything he does "Aww fuck sake Edu, Your pish." Gets the blame too often IMO.
NorthernLights 2,526
Those names including Donovan are absolutely horrendous. Are you seriously saying that Donovan is horrendous?

dee9 3,973
He was ok yesterday but the amount of times he hesitated when the ball was there to be won was unreal. Simply not good enough.

Td18 3
To be fair hes a hard working player but his technical ability is at times non-existant. Definately not £2.4m worth of player, hes already shown that. A few performances where he gets pass marks wont change this.
Al Jolson 3
He was ok yesterday but the amount of times he hesitated when the ball was there to be won was unreal. Simply not good enough. That's about right. He wants too long on the ball, takes too long to make a decision (which, to be fair, is probably symptomatic of Scottish football rather than a fault on his behalf) and is willing to tackle sparingly (again, probably symptomatic of Scottish football). Technically gifted yes, but unsuited to the SPL.

TravelingWilBEARy 4,319
Edu has the makings of a fine player - always said he there was a player there. Of course he can improve, he needs to work hard at his distribution and decision making but time is on his side.
Td18 3
But will he improve? There would be nothing more satisfying for me if he did.
Smile 26,610
Had a better game but still struggles badly with the ball at his feet.
Broxi 11,504
If no one had seen Edu play last season and we were only marking him on this season's performances then we'd all be a lot happier with him and he wouldn't be getting any stick at all. Sadly his reputation is decent performances this season.

In April 2006 they were ranked 4th (their highest ever), at the start of the 2006 World Cup they were 5th. At the start of the 2010 World Cup they were 14th.
