Hi Guys. Looking for some coaching help from those who know this game.

In my first ever season of FM, playing Rangers, of course, and plan on exploiting the "potential" market from the end of my first season. To do this I want to make sure I have the right coaches in place to develop the youngsters.

So, two things:

1. Who are the best coaches available that will come to Rangers in early seasons?

2. Is there a way to get new coaches in without removing the old ones first? I made a lot of changes before my first season and seemed to get knocked back a lot if I already had a full roster of coaches. Don't want to leave myself short if the replacements say no after I've already fired someone.

Thanks for any help.

If you go into the boardroom section, you can interact with the board. Ask them if you can have extra coaches, normally they'll say no, but the few times I've had to do it, I replied saying having extra coaches could let them work on specialist areas (something along those lines).

Normally they accept, and you'll get maybe 4 extra coaches.

Playing the Portuguese cup semi final and got 5 first team players away on international duty, shambles

First leg of my Champions League play-off, I had about the same on International Duty, luckily still scraped a 2-0 win.

--

Was trying to get that Salihi from Rapid, what a player, never got him though. As I said above, scraped a 2-0 win at home against Rapid, then went away and this picture will tell you it all. THERE'S ONLY ONE NACHO NOVO.

Went well at first with this win against Sturm Graz

Couldn't believe it against Hibs, absolutley cruising, dominating possession and then they get 2 goals 6 minutes from the end to snatch a 2-2 draw :anguish:

Destroyed St Mirren 3-0 with goals from Goian, McKay and Jelavic.

Beat Hearts 3-1 (Edu, Fleck and Jelavic) and then got beat by Celtic in the QF of the LC because Whittaker wanted to be a dick and get himself sent off in the 16th minute. Fatty scored for them and I got tore right into them at half time. Worked wonders, absolutely dominated the 2nd half despite being a man down but somehow lost 1-0 :anguish:

Oh well, back to winning ways against Aberdeen though

Hoping to beat Sturm Graz away and Inter to beat CSKA away. If that happens I've got a good chance of qualifying :uk:

First game of my 2nd season drew 0-0 with newly promoted Falkirk :anguish:, 2nd game beat Hivs 3-2, was up 3-0 at half time :(, Got Zenit, Inter Milan & Zeljeznicar from Bosnia in my Champions League group, Should get 2nd or 3rd.

Shiiiiit! Halfway through my third season, McGregor (aged 32) is out for 3 months with strained ankle ligaments. He has decided to retire at the end of the season through injury. He is still in his prime as far as im concerned.

Gonna have to try talk him out of this.

Revenge is sweet.

Actually think I could pull of 2nd, would be a tough match for last 16 though, Other match in the group, Inter gubbed the Bosnian team 7-0

EDIT: Oh and I'd advise all of you if you've got a spare £1m lying about to buy Templeton, putting in MOTM performances for me game after game.

Have a look for Marc-Andre ter Stegen. His contract runs out at the end of the third season, assuming he hasn't moved on already, and he's probably the best young keeper in the game.

Who does he play for?

Who does he play for?

Gladbach, in the Bundesliga. I've seen him play a few times and he's a cracking prospect, so as soon as I started the game I shortlisted him so I'd be informed of any news regarding him. He must have knocked back contracts from them about eight times, so I don't think it's just a fluke that he let his contract run down in my game. The only problem I can see is if he's been picked up by another side in the meantime.
