Why all the hate? He waived his redundancy payment & gave up to his contractual entitlements when he left the club.

Not the best player but don't think he mucked us about like Naismith etc (tu)

He's as much of a judas as anyone.

I'm sure his signing on fee at Bolton made up for not taking redundancy money.

Maybe his signing on fee did make up for his redundancy pay but it certainly helped our club out at the time did it? It got out him off the wage bill and allowed us to use the money on more important things (tu)

Hoffenheim have snapped up Ghana international Afriyie Acquah from Palermo on a four-and-a-half-year contract.

The 21-year-old had spent the first half of the current campaign on loan at Palermo's Serie A rivals Parma.

He will, however, continue his career in the German top-flight.

Arsenal were reported to be weighing up an approach for the highly-rated midfielder at one stage, but Hoffenheim are delighted that they have been able to put a deal in place.

Sky Sports understands Aston Villa defender Alan Hutton could be set for a move to Spanish side Real Mallorca on loan.

Hutton is out of favour at Villa Park and they are willing to let the Scotland international move on.

The 28-year-old has recently returned to Villa after a successful two-month spell on loan at Nottingham Forest and his performances alerted Mallorca.

They certainly do for the big games.

Martri and Bendtner are not good enough, Giovinco plays behind the striker. Vucinici on form is good but is very inconsistent and Quagliarella is a completely different type of player. They need a big forward who can hold the ball up and get on the end of crosses. Would be perfect for Juventus and still gets playing time with Bilbao albeit 30 minutes here and there, would be fit enough for sure.

@ king Gazza - Man United, Bayern, Barcelona have all been interested in Muniain.

I know these teams have been interested in the past but wasn't so sure about recently.

I still can't believe anyone rates Bendtner, awful awful player.
