What would you rename Murray Park?

Struth is a great Ranger, but he already has a stand named after him and there are a handful of other people, who are arguably as significant as Mr Struth, that also deserve to be honoured.

I've always felt the contribution of David Meiklejohn is often over looked in our history, he may not be the person to name the training ground after but he like many others should have more prominent tributes at the club.

I suppose that's the problem having generation after generation of success, too many names to mention when looking back.

The Rangers Academy. It is the club that is bigger than any player, and this would be reflected here.

The badge on the front of the shirt is more important than the name on the back.

Regardless of what it might be renamed it is not Charles Green's shout, it is the shout of those of us who have worn the colours and went to matches all our lives.

More importantly the choice of a new title should not be restricted to two names and certainly not by a straw poll of season ticket holders. A properly constituted working party should be formed to select nominations (for there are many) and then decide how a shortlist could be framed and put to a vote of supporters.

I think just Auchenhowie. The Moses McNeil or Davie Cooper are nice tributes but have no ring to them atall.

I'd Just have it known as Auchenhowie or The Rangers Academy

I know why people would want moses mcneil but there was 4 people who founded the club. If it was to be named after our founder(s) it should be named the founder fathers academy or the gallant pioneers park. And i understand why people would want it named after davie cooper but you could name it after greig,mccoist,baxter,laudrup,gough or a good number of amazing players that have played for our great club. I was then swaying towards naming it after bill struth and i know people say he has the main stand named after him but how many people call it the bill struth main stand? I then thought with everything that has gone on recently it should be named after the fans in some way and then anchorman got it perfect...academy66. Past players/managers gave everything to our club but those 66 gave the ultimate sacrifice.

I wouldnt argue against anything that has been mentioned in this this thread but academy66 would be my choice.

Combination of a couple of suggestions leads me to Royal Auchenhowie, following the recent rise of Wooten Bassett. If it must be changed, there has to be more input for suggestions as i'm not keen on either option put forward.

it doesn't impress me tbh however i think it should be renamed and murrays name removed completely so if it has to be changed im all for that either way
