AyrshireBlue 449
He's not as good as he was made out to be.Not the first, won't be the last.I suggest it's the niggling knee injury- which is getting operated on at end of season- is the reason. the goal machine 7,821
He's still a very good player, just looks short on confidence. Naismith on the other hand...

JM1872 3,776
Nobody can say he hasn't got talent. All Rangers fans and indeed Everton/EPL fans have seen enough to confidently say he does, but when he lacks confidence he isn't the player he can be. elephants stoned 2,994
Jelavic was on fire after leaving Ibrox but this season hes lost all form much like Torres recently, whether its through injury, lack of hunger or something else, lack of form can make the best players look average but Jelavic will be back to his best in time, that much is certain. Spectre 1,663
This is amusing. When he was at Rangers none of us had a bad thing to say about him and he was a superstar, now he's hit a bad patch at Everton and it's:He's not as good as he was made out to be.Starts well then fades. elephants stoned 2,994
Don't think it's certain at all. He's been honking for months.Form is temporary class is permanent. If this slump had happened as soon as he joined Everton it might of been taken as evidence that he only looked good playing in Scotland and couldnt hack a decent league but he was one of the leading goalscorers from Jan-May last year so hes obviously good enough. Perhaps a new manager will revitalise him, perhaps not but his talent is not in doubt.

Spectre 1,663
Pretty sure most of us were saying this not long into his second season, pal.Aye, I remember the outpouring of joy when he was sold, everyone hated him because of how rubbish we all thought he was. How long is not long? I for one was infuriated at his return of 9 goals in his first 15 matches of the season... couldn't move on here for threads about how pish he was.
