Nikica Jelavic

Nobody can say he hasn't got talent. All Rangers fans and indeed Everton/EPL fans have seen enough to confidently say he does, but when he lacks confidence he isn't the player he can be.

Jelavic was on fire after leaving Ibrox but this season hes lost all form much like Torres recently, whether its through injury, lack of hunger or something else, lack of form can make the best players look average but Jelavic will be back to his best in time, that much is certain.

This is amusing. When he was at Rangers none of us had a bad thing to say about him and he was a superstar, now he's hit a bad patch at Everton and it's:

He's not as good as he was made out to be.

Starts well then fades. Seems to be his thing.

Pattern emerging in his career, there.

Exact same as happened to us.

The guy obviously lacks moral fibre.

Pretty sure most of us were saying this not long into his second season, pal.

Don't think it's certain at all. He's been honking for months.

Form is temporary class is permanent. If this slump had happened as soon as he joined Everton it might of been taken as evidence that he only looked good playing in Scotland and couldnt hack a decent league but he was one of the leading goalscorers from Jan-May last year so hes obviously good enough. Perhaps a new manager will revitalise him, perhaps not but his talent is not in doubt.

Aye, I remember the outpouring of joy when he was sold, everyone hated him because of how rubbish we all thought he was. How long is not long? I for one was infuriated at his return of 9 goals in his first 15 matches of the season... couldn't move on here for threads about how pish he was.

Because the exact same thing didn't happen to us for starters. The pish of "He obviously lacks moral fibre" is self evident.

How is it self evident

I tend to think he lacks something, its obviously not ability so. what is it ?

He has went right off the boil at Everton and Croatia and I seem to remember the same thing happening with us.
