What a difference adding 2 players to last season's team did! I thought we lacked a balance in midfield at times. With the 4-1-3-2 formation you rely on your full backs for width but Robbie Crawford hugged the touchline mostly whereas Macleod mostly played centrally but sometimes drifted out wide. I just thought there was a lack of balance but when Templeton came on we change to a 4-4-1-1 and I thought we looked even better. Having that player between midfield and attack really helped.

For me...

Positives:

Law taking game by scruff of the neck

Team looking much fitter, with more pressing of the ball

More attempt to keep ball on deck

McAusland looked good

Negatives:

Tendency to launch to Daly

Little's dreadful hold up play

Mcleod and Crawford were disappointing

Ian Black's set pieces :anguish:

Think we could actually use another centre forward.

Positives

-Fitness, pressing, passing

-Law, Wallace, Daly and Mcausland

-McAusland looks like a great wee player, shades of wallace on the other side

-Templeton, The spark that this team needs alot of the time and cracking goal

Negatives

-Ian Black! constantly gave ball away, muscled off the ball, shite set pieces. Apart from his goal which granted was good he was dire imo, i cant wait till Peralta can play to give us a proper presence in the DM role!

-Still launching it a bit to much for my liking

-Mcloed dissapointed me, gave away possession alot and generally didnt look on the pace but i know he has quality so i'll give him the benefit of the doubt
