1st_Jan_1994 4,868
It's good and funny the players are making light of it with Tweets and the celebration for second goal but the Tweeter had a perfectly valid point too But good banter IMO

elephants stoned 2,994
I love the banter the lads are having about this, if the Gemmel lad really is a bear he will see the funny side, if not then fuck him.

Bears 794
It's good and funny the players are making light of it with Tweets and the celebration for second goal but the Tweeter had a perfectly valid point tooJust a pity the 'Tweeter' ignored Ally's point, or more likely just totally misunderstood the point. It was about fans suffering, not players. The point was that some fans cannot afford 3 away games in a row straight after Christmas. This could easily have been avoided by whoever organises the fixtures being a little thoughtful and decent. But we are talking about football authorities and Rangers fans, after all.A pity that the opportunity for pointing out yet another lack of decency regarding Rangers' fans and the football authorities has been lost amongst the opportunity to deride our manager. Bears 794
Yet the manager never thought of "the fans" in that exact same context of games when cancelling games after he shit himself when Wallace was called upto Scotland squads ehNot the same thing. He cancelled after a late call-up IIRC. At least there was a purpose for it. This time he is pointing out that the fixtures could easily have been made easier for the fans, which would also ensure more income for the small clubs. For this he is pilloried. Why? Why?He's done it 3 times.I have no issue with his comments regarding this. Agree with the general gist of it but it's a joke to say he's not got a cheek as he's never thought of fans before cancelling games against utter pish at Ibrox because of a couple of call ups - especially when it's guys like Peralta and Aird in addition to Wallace. Andy Little got called up for Northern Ireland and even though he's not played for a while so did Dean Sheils.Barrie McKay also got called up to the u19s Scotland sqaud. So thats 7 players that could have been playing that were away on international duty. And if you think we are playing shite just now what would it have been like with 7 of our players away? 1st_Jan_1994 4,868
Macleod got called up to the Scotland u 21 squad. Andy Little got called up for Northern Ireland and even though he's not played for a while so did Dean Sheils.Barrie McKay also got called up to the u19s Scotland sqaud. How many of them would have been playing? McLeod and Wallace - that's it ... in fact maybe even Peralta (like he'd be missed) the point is we have more than enough to see off any of the shite at Ibrox without the call off
