gersandy 594
"Ally McCoist today insisted he has no concerns about his position as Rangers manager despite the humiliating Ramsdens Cup final defeat"That headline on the sky sports app speaks volumes for me.Allys due upwards of £1 million if we sack him. Rangers cannot afford this, and Ally knows it. He wont walk away and do himself our of that money, so expect him to be manager for the immediate future. blue No11 235
Dave King your a rich Rangers supporter. Give Ally a million and tell him to pack his bags !
Bad Robot 21,513
Ally should have the dignity to walk away with nothing. If he doesn't he will tarnish his status as a Rangers legend.

Blue corn flakes 1,282
Surely Ally the man who saved the club will not take a penny.

Jack The Flipper 5,936
If PLG had the dignity to walk away, then surely McCoist would do the same? PLG gained a lot of respect from me by doing that.My only concern is that maybe Ally is too deluded to see his time is at an end.
OneDavidCooper 2,505
Don't understand this view that we can't afford to sack him. We have been making losses and will still be making losses so another million quid loss is hardly a disaster, particularly if a change of manager increases season ticket and merchandise income. UKIP BEAR 370
Well worth a million to get rid of him.If he stays it will cost us more than that.
Loyal-Bear 229
Sadly do not doubt it for a minute. There will be no walking away without a fat pay off.
gmcf 35,442
Ally's probably been paid more in the last 4 or 5 years by Rangers than most of us will earn in a lifetime - so he's not short of a bob or two .
elephants stoned 2,994
I think the board will have to act but they must be brave and do it now or within a week or so. Leaving it till just before ST renewal will look like a PR stunt and backfire Imo.
mearns loyal 2,841
Surely Ally the man who saved the club will not take a penny.the same man who has probably acquired about 10% of the money that has been raised over the past couple of years due to the million shares and the the year and a half super inflated salary and the six months where he has only been getting a grossly inflated salary... Dennistoun Rangers 426
I, amongst others, was clear that McCoist's pay decrease delay was him making sure he wouldn't lose out anything. Ally McCoist is a goalscoring legend, but he is also extremely wealthy as a result of our club. Knowing fine well he can't manage, he won't "walk away" coz he wants his other £1.5m. Plus his penny shares. One man is holding our recovery back.
loyalfollower 1,543
Every passing game does he scunner me more and more. The guy is in danger of losing his legendary status the longer he serves up this poor excuse of football

bombaybadboy08 15,660
If Mr Rangers cared as much as he said then he would walk away with no pay off.Won't happen though, it's always been Ally first since he took over, just like Walter.
ritchieshearercaldow 22,405
The only thing Ally has to offer the club is his resignation, next weekend could be the final straw.
