Agree with the "arse covering, but it was our non existant central defender's arse he was covering, not his own there was no one between him and the QOS player and he was experienced enough to know it. McGregor is a good defefnder who knows where the centre back should be. Mohsni and McCulloch were posted missing.

I'm not blaming him for the chance being created, it just pisses me off when players do this gung-ho self-destructive bollocks. "Taking one for the team" is fine when it's the 119th minute. Otherwise switch on and have some sense.

Can anyone tell me what Shiels brings to the team?

He brings nothing to our team because there is nothing there for him.

Most balls forward are aimed at Daly or Aird. Players like Boyd (albeit not as fit and sharp as he should be) and Shiels thrive on good midfield service and space. No one around them does this.

Kenny Miller too has been reduced to a headless chicken running around the centre circle trying to get the defense and midfield to move the ball in to space he can run on to, instead every ball is punted or sent sideways.
