Personally I think Warburton needs to tweak his tactics from game to game. It's all very well that he has a method of attacking 4-3-3 and dominating possession , but we can't just roll up on game day and go toe to toe with everyone and anyone

What tactics, against shite teams we muddle about their 18 yard line, against Burnley we muddled about the half way line, at least we can score in the first scenario and thankfully most of the SPL will play that way.

ok not really bothered by the defeat today as it was only a friendly, and the hows and whys of the game have been posted by many, I personally think when we play with no intensity we become bang average, but to me the biggest difference is this - our squad is assembled together and designed to win the top league in Scotland, where as the Burnley's squad is assembled together and designed to to stay in the top league in England, simples....

Tells me nothing I didn't already know, our defence is terrible and against good opposition will be tore apart,

Our silky quick attacking style of play doesn't work as much against a good well organised side.

However on the big scale of things it's not panic stations! We have more than enough to win the Scottish Premier League.

Last season,a few games was exactly same scenario-looks like Tav  ignores MOH, while he's on clear position to run and pass a ball to the box.

Exactly. Tav played it square a couple of times when MOH was on his heels, feels like he is ignoring his runs.

Watch closely next time.

It tells me if we're content with just challenging Scottish football, we are doing alright.

If we want to get back to where we should be, we need a lot of work.

As a Rangers supporter I don't like it when a team runs all over us and we look 2nd rate in every dept., but we have been assembled for a few million quid, regardless of how good Warburton is made out to be, we are going to be a SPL side and no more. To compete in Europe and back at a level you talk about being at, is going to cost a lot of money and a lot of work, and judging by this boards statements and actions it ain't coming soon.

Tav was guilty of that a lot last season, I don't think you will need to look too closely.

I know it won't be an overnight thing, and there will be a lot more frustrating games on the way, but the thought of never being at the level we were is just depressing.

I know, Rtv showed an old European game at half time today when we scored 5, some of the class players we had.

But he will play the ball to Waggy. Frustrating as fuck btw. And petty

Any idea how stupid that sounds?  Count are the number of games he has played with Waghorn versus those played with MOH.  As MOH gets mire game time the understanding will develop.

He is guilty of it, he gets quite selfish at times when the better ball is wide.

Yip I do.

But I have noticed it.

Tells me the boss has a blind spot regarding the centre of defence, that our hopes that the addition of a specialist CDM would prevent our defence being split open by a simple through pass , are optimistic . That Sean Dyche has improved Burnley from last year , and that us not playing in europe might be not a bad thing .

On the positive side , Andre Gray gives us hope that MW can produce someone like that for us , and I don't think we will face a side as good as Burnley again this season . A wee wake up call before the league starts may be just what we need ( players, management & support ) We have made great progress in terms of playing style and scouting but we still have loads we can improve on .

I learned that even watching i bust up my headphones in a rage over a linesman giving offside against us - at the end of the game i apologised to my daughter for swearing & acting like a nutjob

Every game matters or should- Against better players & Opposition what is required

Too many had a bad day at the Office and it wasnt just the defenders .
