 extremely poor today again. Anonomous after 70 mins when we need it

What? Apart from when he got himself through on goal twice, and nearly made it 3 on one of those occassions? The whole team was annonymous after 70 minutes pretty much, but you've picked on the two players who created the most chances during the game haha.

Wes (6) - Good with his feet again other than one slack pass, commanded his box a few times which was good to see

Tavernier (8) - Outstanding in defence today, looked solid.

Wilson (6) - Looked relatively comfortable, a few shaky moments

Kiernan (5) - See Kiernan thread...

Wallace (6) - Would be a 5 but got a good assist

Halliday (5) - A few decent shots on goal but didn't really offer much

Barton (6) - Still waiting on him getting sharp, he will be a big player for us this season

Rossiter (8) - Doesn't give the opposition a second to think, good with the ball at his feet.

Forrester (6) - Ruined it with his stupidity

Miller (5) - Great finish but two sitters and offered nothing really

McKay (9) - Classy player. Should see more assists from him when we buy a striker

Subs:

Dodoo (6) - Neat and tidy, great skill and pass at the end to set up McKay. The more his confidence grows the better he'll get

Kranjcar (5) - Didn't do anything wrong, didn't do anything outstanding.

O'Halloran (5) - Always seems to make a difference when he comes on but needs to get involved more

Wallace was near their 18 yard line once.

Mckay got in the box once and tried to finish it with the outside of the boot, why no curl it round the keeper and finish the game?

They two are exempt from criticism and they have been extremely poor the first two games.

Just me who thinks Rossiter was our best player? he done the dirty work today and without him Dundee would have likely dominated our midfield all game.

Its all about opinions mate but I just don't understand how anyone can conclude that the lad was any thing short of very good.  I thought he had a cracking 1st half.

Rossiter and forrester were our only decent players today. Barry needs Wallace on form.

Wallace and McKay need to get a room and rekindle what they had last season.

Rossiter is brilliant. Harry was also great just needs to calm it a wee bit.  Kenny Miller is great at golf .

He scored as well which is par for the course.

Foderingham - 5 nothing to do all day so no decent score
Tavernier - 6 gave the ball away at times but defended a bit better.
Wilson - 5 slow and lethargic looking
Kiernan - 5 passing was poor
Wallace - 5 looked unfit and off the pace
McKay - 6 did okay but final ball could be betterr
Barton - 5 slow today and struggled when closed down.
Rossiter - 6 best player in the middle
Halliday - 5 did okay was unlucky to come off.
Forrester - 7 the only player who had something about him.
Miller - 5 took goal well but struggled throughout.

Subs; meh.

So anonymous that he was inches from scoring a third in the last minute?

We wouldn't have won without McKay's contribution today. Him and Harry were the only players that looked dangerous going forward

Pretty sure Barrie had a hand in both goals & a few other dangerous moments.

Was saying to my lad that, because he doesn't simply fly down the wing & put a cross over, he's in danger of being slated for not contributing - when he's quietly being very influential.

Probably about right mate, unfortunately, the moaning folk on here are basing their low figures on the 2nd half and not the whole game.

That's why it's a game of 2 halfs

2nd half was pretty disorganised, TBF.

Our changes seemed to detract from the performance, rather than perk it up.
