LaudrupsPatrickBoots 13,510
There will be plenty of negative threads after that display so let's have a positive one in amongst it. He was a fucking hero for us today. Kept the score line respectable and surely now he must deserve a run of games to fight for that number 1 spot. Moody Blue 9,395
great game, bar the obvious fuck up. I wish to some degree performances like that merited you staying in the team. Won't happen though.
ThatNightInFlorence 696
He played well but he doesn't deserve to start over Wes in the league. Wes has been great this season so far and has saved us a good few points already this season.  Gilks played because he gets the cup games, that is all.
gersandy 594
Man of the match. A bit dodgy with the ball at his feet, but hey, hes a goalie. Deserves a run of games.
sandyinroyalblue 16,478
Only Gilks and some decent last ditch tackles stopped it being another rout.
OnwardsandUpwards 834
Superb game today. At least it proves to any lasting doubters he can step up to the plate when needed. Also believe he is the main reason for Wes upping his game as well.Great to have options in this position. TheBluebells 6,898
Himself and Hill justified their selection big time today.
gsa 3,906
Did well, also thought Hodson played well. Fair play to them both to step up and pretty much deliver when it mattered. Shame their teammates don't have their balls.
1NachoNovo 840
Deserves a run in the team. I like Wes, but on that performance today, he deserves the jersey for the time being. Defo earned it imo.
Bighouse 1,012
The sobering reality is that of Gilks didn't play the game of his life it would have been another Five goal doing.

I don't think anyone was shocked to see Hill start when the only other option was Senderos?  Wilson once he's fit again and Hill would be my first choice partnership.
Broxi 11,504
Shoutout to Hill as well
Baratheon 16
Did not deserve to be on the losing team today, he did his job and then some but most of the outfield players let him down massively.
SeparateEntityMyArse 53,754
Wobbles apart, he did the important things well. Him, Hodson, Hill and without doubt Kiernan are not to blame for today.
Brian Fantana 28,894
Outstanding, lets hope he's our new number 1.

MasterD 7,435
MOTM easily, would've been another riddy if it wasn't for him.
RangersMedia 35,961
Gilks was quality but Fod has been good in the league. I'm just glad we have 2 good keepers we can rely on. On another note - we defended corners really well today. Gilks organised the defence quite well
blueretro 704
I'm pleased for him. Came in for our biggest game of the season and did himself proud. I wonder how the game would have panned out if Wes had started?
BridgeIsBlue 66,606
Saved us from another embarrassment. Guy played out of his skin today.
weeto 112
He was horrendous today. I was nervous every time the ball went near him. He made some brave saves but a club of our stature can't have a guy that is so bad with the ball at his feet. I'm really surprised that a good goalie wasn't made a major priority in the summer instead of the waste of space primadonna midfielders. Midfield was our strongest position and Warburton managed to weaken it with additions. A decent goalie would organise the defence better too.
