What would I do to change it? Stop trying to wedge people into a failing midfield three because of a lack of options and change your formation to suit. With our lack of depth in midfield i'd like him to go 442 seeing as we have an abundance of people who can play out wide and we aren't exactly short of strikers. The team selection seems to look to change things about a bit and to draw out the importance to Warburton of having a squad where players can play (well he hopes) in various roles. He also often emphasises that its about the squad, and not about having a best first team. We'll see today how this pans out. Looks to me like a bit of an early try-out for the upcoming OF game too. Here's hoping that the faith he puts in having versatile players pays off this afternoon. He'll be eager to impress. Tav playing further forward should also benefit Garner as he should hopefully be able to get the ball into the box higher up the park and faster........
