eosmhdo 1,879
My fucking baws, give us a break down then. Transparency and all that with the exact amount that's come out your pocket, not ours. We never went back on our promise to support the club, imo you did. Mols94 3,669
Very worrying. We badly need major investment.

bennybongo 110
This is a nightmare. So, there's 12 left. How the fuck can we get out of this shit if we've no money.
Ger77 742
There isn't 12 million left, because there wasn't 30 million sitting waiting to be spent in the first place.
loyalfollower 1,543
The only investment was soft loans and fans tickets
Tenerife Bear 1,748
Soft loans are not investment. Fans have ploughed in far more than the board have. The club have spent about £3m on transfer fees in last 2 years and average £8m per season on wages. Pathetic for a club of our standing in the game.

bluewhitevanman 1,619
DK is at it why can't we get a decent board? I just can't take to DK at all and never will. Transparency will never come from this board
PRW. 5,631
The account showed 14m put in and they were released around September time. Go look at them.
trueblueal 2,117
12m in loans to be converted plus initial share purchase price to get rid of Ashley? He thinks we need more than another 12m and that being the case we are entitled to expect the next manager to have a decent budget (£10m or so to spend)? That's the point, not fudged accounts but crack on believing his pish if you want.
Polo 1,433
They're soft loans because they can't convert them into equity without shareholder consent. They tried to get it at the AGM but the resolution wasn't passed. The only way we're going to get money to spend these days is by increasing revenues and/or injections of cash from shareholders. The cash from shareholders can be for shares, come in as a loan or be gifted. If you're Dave King then why the fuck would you effectively gift X% of cash to Mike Ashley? You're only going to put it in as a loan or to increase your shareholding. If you can't increase your shareholding because you don't have authority from shareholders, it needs to be a loan.

He said in his "pitch" that he would probably be putting in 50/50 with the other investors.

Then there's O'Halloran, Dodoo, Alnwick, Windass. Then wages on the likes of Kranjcar, Senderos, Rossiter, Hill. All that before factoring in the new contracts given to Kiernan, Halliday, Tavernier and the likes. It's not difficult to see where the money went. Warburton wasted a lot of money on a lot of shite. He wasn't good enough and he failed. Simple as that.
Bertent 2,081
To be fair I personally always think when the board talk about figures for team investment that the figure also includes cost of replacing toilet seats and light bulbs. Got to go apparently Ive won the Nigerian lottery.

The transfer documentation and player contract will all be in the name of the club  Must be third party ownership implications as well.
