Pedantic loyal, that’s next on the list though - fuck knows what they’d of done if had exact same.

Florida Cup can be decided by aggregate points or through a final match (playoff format), varying each year according to the international leagues schedules.

In 2018, the winner will be the club with most points after 2 matches. Win = 3 pts, Tie = 1 pt, and 1 extra point awarded to winner by penalty kicks. The first tiebreaker, shall it be needed, will be number of wins, followed by goals differential, goals scored and goals against.

This doesn't really make alot of sense, the only eventuality that would see number of wins rule used would be everyone draws both games, losing the penalty shout out once and winning once while one team wins a game but loses the other.

Same as the goals against rule, there is literally no way it can ever be used to decide the tournament winner, no eventuality could see it come into play. Seems crazy to have a tournament rule that can literally never be used.

Although the Americans are a bit behind with 'soccer' it seems the wording of this could be misleading, I wonder if goal differential is the final deciding factor and the goals scored and goals against is clarifying what goal differential is.

As others pointed out been written by an idiot, wonder how the replay would of worked too given we won’t be in Florida when final game is played.

We had 2 wins and if Barcelona or Nacional did not win both their games then we would have won the tournament as no other team would have two wins.

Goal difference could have won us the tournament.

Level on goal difference but having scored more could also have won us the tournament.

Nacional could still win the tournament if they beat Legia by 2 goals or they win 5 - 4.  If they win 4-3 they draw level with Nacional on wins, goal difference and goals scored.

It's known as "Read the Terms and Conditions before Participating". Fuck me swinging,DBN, back in the late 60's-early 70's I played in a pre-season tournament in Canberra where we lost the final...Now you might not believe this (neither did I at the time ) but here were the "Terms and Conditions" for the tournament.

(1) Play is 2X20 minutes duration....Winners=most goals scored. (2) If equal goals are scored at end of match then team receiving most corner kicks are declared winners. (3) If teams receive equal corner kicks then winner will be the team receiving most throw- ins. We lost by trying to keep the ball in play instead of letting it go out for throw-ins. I dfidn'ty know whether to laugh or fucking cry after that.

So we didn't win this than?

Sadly no as were down one on goal difference to the wee Barca who may also lose it on goal difference.

Hopefully the team recognise that goal difference can count at the end of any season and just because we’re winning by 2 or 3 this doesn’t allow us to take our foot off the gas and we’re trying to score up until the final whistle.
