Could've come in for free and arguably improved our starting XI (unlike some of the pre-contracts we're rumoured to be bringing in from the SPL - we need to be spending money or scouting further afield in the "creative" positions). Felt the same way when I heard this too. Apart from being a very solid, comfortable centre back in a three, he comes across as a leader despite being only 23.
