Did the clubs ask for 5 subs or was it just the usual Juan club ?

5 Subs actually suits us .We have the strongest deepest squad in the country by quite a distance .

Lets hope this blows up in the face of Separate Entity and the majority of these new “superstars” bomb .

FFS:lol:

I often call our league Mickey mouse.

But it's not even close to being that professional.

Five subs.........or 6*

*I reckon if you have 4 or more players in your squad who have already played a season in Asia, 6 subs should be permitted. Only fair (when you take all the pinged hamstrings into account)

Didn't actually mind five subs, gave a lot of players more game time last year than they would have normally got. Plus I think we've by far the strongest squad so don't see it being a disadvantage to us. Still don't think they should be changing half way through a season.

They talk about "sporting integrity" but in Scotland there genuinely is none

How the fuck can you change competition rules mid way through the competition?

What an absolute embarrassment

Why not go the full hog and make it that 4 of the subs must be Japanese.

Livingston loaned a boy who has made 4 league appearances for Villa this season

Gerrard must be paying off a tic bill with that one imo

That's his wee brother

The one loaned to Livi hasn't played a league game but has played in pre-season and a cup game for them this year

3 subs suits us, because we're sitting 6 points ahead using the 3.

If it isn't broke don't fix it, that's what would have happened if they were 6 points ahead.

It could definitely fuck them up due to our depth but it rings as 'try anything to get the tarriers closer"

FORMER Scotland star Charlie Adam has been fined £2,000 for drink driving after initially trying to hide his £182,000 salary in court.

The Dundee captain claimed he had suffered a tyre blow-out after police found his badly damaged £50,000 Audi Q7 parked at the roadside.

Former Rangers and Liverpool player Adam, who also works as a TV football pundit, was sitting in the car using his mobile phone when police arrived.

They discovered he was twice the legal alcohol limit.

At Dundee Sheriff Court, Adam was banned from the road for a year and fined after he admitted drink driving after a party on 13 December.

Adam admitted driving while his reading was 43 mics, compared to the 22 mics limit, on the A930 Dundee Road West.

Fiscal depute Rachel Hill told the court: "At approximately 4.30 am police spotted a stationary vehicle on the side of the road and observed the accused in the driver's seat, on his mobile phone.

"Damage was observed to the front nearside tyre and panel of the vehicle. Officers made the vehicle safe. He initially stated he had a tyre blow-out.

"Further officers were requested to attend to assist with inquiries. The accused was required to identify the driver and replied: 'It was me.'

"He was asked to give a specimen of breath at the roadside and agreed to do so. The procedure was carried out and he made no reply to caution and charge."

Solicitor Steven Farmer, defending, said: "He is aware he will be disqualified. The car had suffered tyre damage. The context here is that his address is in Glasgow.

"You may be aware that he plays for Dundee Football Club. He is the club captain," he told Sheriff Paul Brown.

The sheriff replied: "I was unaware of that."

Mr Farmer continued: "He was staying in a hotel in Dundee at the time. He had taken his car. He bumped into family friends and they let him into the house with a group of others.

"It was not a party, as such. He agreed to attend the friend's house and a few drinks were taken. What he then did was to cease drinking.

"He waited quite a considerable time to get off and running. He accepts responsibility for that. In terms of the effect on him it will be quite significant.

"The primary effect will be on his family and his family life. He currently lives in Glasgow and commutes to Dundee as and when he is required for footballing duties.

"That will not be possible without driving. It is his intention to move to Dundee. He has two young children and doesn't want to uproot them.

"The family is effectively going to be separated for an extended period of time while Mr Adam is living in Dundee for the majority of the week. He will see his family when he can. That will be a significant additional penalty."

Sheriff Brown asked: "The real question is the level of the monetary penalty. Do you have any submission or proposal in relation to that?"

Mr Farmer said Adam's punditry work on the BBC had dried up since the incident and initially refused to give any details of the player's income to the court.

He said: "He has his main footballing salary and also does work on an ad hoc basis for the BBC as a football pundit. The punditry work has dried up at the moment.

"He can certainly pay a significant fine. For commercial reasons he doesn't wish to say what his salary is." However, when pushed he told the court Adam earned £3,500 a week.

Sheriff Brown fined Adam the equivalent of four days' wages and gave him a month to pay the fine, along with a £75 court surcharge.

He also gave Adam the opportunity to attend a drink drive rehabilitation course to get his ban reduced by a quarter.

Mr Farmer said: "It is fair to say it has been a difficult time for him. It is a year since his mother passed away with cancer, and his father previously committed suicide."

In October last year, his brother Grant Adam was jailed for eight months at the same court after he admitted stealing £15,000 from their 78-year-old grandfather.

The former Rangers, St Mirren and Scotland under-21 goalkeeper embezzled the money from the pensioner while he had power of attorney over his finances.

Charlie Adam, made 26 appearances for Scotland and has played for a host of clubs including Stoke, Blackpool and Reading.

He was sold from Blackpool to Liverpool in 2011 for £6.75 million and was named last season's SPFL Scottish Championship Player of the Year after joining boyhood heroes Dundee.

Pretty sure he’s English .Struggled like fuck down south .Aberdeen took him ,did ok for them then went back down south and struggles like fuck again .

Some players just fit in ,right place right time .Looks like he found that at Aberdeen. While I wouldn’t have wanted him at Rangers he did look like a half decent player .Not somebody that would struggle in the lower English leagues .

For a player that’s on £3500 a week why not just phone a taxi?
