I wouldn't touch the main stand though.

It should always be a stand alone, it's one of if not the most iconic stand in World football. 

Fill in the Jardine corners and that should be enough capacity wise.

Certainly not against an increase, but lowering the pitch seems to be a strange way of doing it, but I assume it had been well planned.

Any time scale coming from your source ??

Heating wouldn’t b a problem ,rip out and start again ,the water table was something I did think could be a problem,

if possible though would bring the stands right close to the pitch making for a right intimidating stadium

How long do you think it would take? How deep down would it need to go for the additional seats circa 7000 maybe 6 or so rows.
