Morelos agent.

Rangers star Alfredo Morelos’ agent has fired a warning to potential clubs interested in the hitman to act soon.

The Gers ace has been on red hot form for Steven Gerrard’s side this season so far and finished the league’s top goalscorer last campaign too.

He has scored 22 goals already this term in all competitions, including 11 in the Europa League.

SunSport revealed that Crystal Palace are among keen parties to swoop for the Colombian.

And now one of the 23-year-old’s representatives has told potential suitors to come in for him sooner rather than later – because the longer they wait, the more money it’ll take to snap him up.

Theofilos Karasavvidis, who works for World in Motion – the representatives of the striker – claims the Ibrox club do NOT have a massive fee placed on his head.

Gaffer Gerrard insisted after their 3-0 Betfred semi-final win over Hearts that Morelos would ‘100%’ not be sold in the upcoming January window.

This was backed up by new sporting director Ross Wilson who said the fan’s favourite would ‘categorically’ not be moving on just yet.

However, speaking to Tuttomercatoweb, Karasavvidis said: “He is a player who has always scored a lot since he arrived in Europe.

“This is a goal machine. He is a player worth following, (clubs) who want a striker must come and follow him.

“He does not have a very high value. My advice is to take him before his name is on everyone’s lips.”

Aston Villa are also said to be tracking Morelos who has been one of the standout players from the Premiership this season

Shock when a 22 goal striker becomes even more expensive at end of the season when he finishes on 30+.

Non story, not arsed.

And scored a hat trick in the europa cup final

I fucking hate agents!

They are the personal injury lawyers of the football world.

Absolute gutter trash.

£25m should be the starting price in any bidding in the summer.

He does come across as a bit of a pimp, maybe he needs some cash for Xmas.

the last place he should go to is crystal palace  a team that spends most of the time defending and gives very little support to the striker

said it before alfredo has to pick his club carefully or he will end up at a epl club fighting relagation and get limited goal chances  he should wait till a decent club comes along

Would love to know where the stories originate that a particular club is interested in x player?

The club won't say it. Rangers won't say it, so just made up rumour shite.

Every club has scouts all over the country every week of the year. If a certain scout was seen at one of our games, what about the dozens that come to all our games?

The only thing this shite does is to fill press column inches for alleged journalists who are too fucking lazy to go out and get a real story for themselves.

The club will sell at the price it sets of it’s too low then it’s the people running the club we are to be angry at.

This drums up interest in an asset of ours, advertises it so to speak.

I can’t really care enough about this to be annoyed

Didn’t Gerrard say he can tell who’s coming to scout players because he has a list of who’s sitting in the directors box or something like that?  There’s no doubt been clubs up here to scout Morelos and probably others.

If Morelos wants his move to English football he needs to keep performing the way he has been between now and January.  He could hit 30 competitive goals from open play before the turn of the year.  We have big games against Feyenoord, Young Boys, and a two against celtic coming up.  He also needs to find the back of the net for Columbia.  His stock will continue to rise the more he performs on all fronts.  Eventually someone will put in a massive bid for him and that’ll be it.  It’ll be a sad day, but inevitable really.

Think everyone knows the optimum time to sell for both parties will be at the end of the season.

In the meantime the agent's just doing what he is paid for and getting his player noticed and talked up in the bigger markets.

Why would he even contemplate Crystal Palace, No Europe, No Cups, Shitey Ground, Shitey Fans and probably fighting relegation at the end of the season.

EPL football, shop window and money.

Same level as the likes of Villa, Burnley, Bournemouth even West Ham and Everton these days. Southampton, Norwich even Newcastle are potential relegation contenders too. Brighton would be decent choice as they had a big cash investment.

End of season Leeds and the other promoted reams would be interested.

Can see bigger clubs coming in only if he can score more a the European level.

Money talks. Leaving us will be down-sizing unless it's one of the top six. 😊

Van Dijk went to Southampton. Look at him now... In saying that, I wouldn't be surprised if Morelos doesn't go straight to a top six EPL club in the summer.

What a silly thing for an agent to say.

My thoughts exactly, not going to help him in any contract negotiations. Also, but sorry Theo, his value isn’t down to you!
