Like everyone else, was a bit concerned by this game.

Nerves are gone every game at the moment unless we're at least 2-0 up and cruising.

But was quite routine,  nothing fancy, but certainly nothing worrying either.

Clean sheet, no injuries, Roofe and Morelos scoring was great for us.

Taigs are over their sticky patch now, though 7 points lost over it.

Won't be an easy game, but it's must win for them, pressure on them for first time in years.

Not sure they are over anything. Apart from Dundee hibs , who may be 5th but are complete pish, they have managed to beat 3 of the bottom 4 plus a lower division side who bottled it when needing 2 penalties scored to win the cup.

If we play like we have played in the last 3 games against them I am confident of a win.

Guy is on another level and Gerrard knows it......

Unfortunately thanks to tv money even small teams in the likes of England can offer wages we can only dream of these days.

I would love to see him stay , win the league , then say he wants a shot at the CL but reality says we could lose him to bigger money.

As long as hes here till the end of the season and we win it I am fine with that , he should go for more cash than any of the rest of them......

I agree. Nobody leaves in January should be our bottom line. In the summer we can assess where we stand

Is it just me who is in stitches at shaggers interview.

He gives fuck all away and also comes across dry at any question. I love it. Doesn't really answer questions properly. I love his personality. That is what makes him a winner.

Love how his last word is "dunno". He's not for helping the interviewer out at all. Just as well the guy never asked any stupid questions, would have probably been made to look pretty daft

Even more reason to go for it and really attack celtic. Their defence is poor and that's being kind.

Agree we must go for the jugular, their weakness is there. They do have players who can hurt us, if we sit deep,  I never like being over confident playing them, if we turn up we win, but these games can go either way,  depends on who wants it the most on the day,  even if we win, I still won't be over confident,  if still in a decent lead at start of February I will then and only then would feel confident of taking the title

Agree 100%. Even if we win 2nd Jan our fixtures in Jan are difficult. Beat celtic 2nd Jan and win our difficult games in Jan we should win the league.

We need to keep Kamara until after the Euros. His value will skyrocket. Teams have to come in with an offer that is our evaluation. He would coast any league in Europe. He’s that good.

Not so sure.

I understand your sentiment though.

van bronckhorst looked incredible up here as a left sided central midfielder, he ended up playing his career at arsenal and Barca as a left back.

so, point I’m making, although absolutely outstanding footballer, no way was he sliding into these teams midfields ahead of the players on their books at the time.

saying that, yes, if he signed for a Bolton, a Sunderland etc then yes, doesn’t mean he would have coasted it.

look at Reyna, struggled at Sunderland.

id say take the league into account. But he will and should play at a higher level than we unfortunately can’t offer week to week.

Mate, read your post again. Van Bronckhorst, Arsenal and Barcelona. Ok.

Agreed, wasn’t sparkling but was controlled and paced, think if necessary there were gears to move through...

I understand how it looks, but your saying he’ll coast it anywhere.

a £50000 buy will play cent midfield in any league in the world and coast it, and I’m assuming you mean a massive club at the same time.

it might happen, but I’d be amazed he switches from cent midfield at Dundee, then Rangers to then move to a Chelsea to replace a Kante.

im only saying I’m not disagreeing, but it rarely happens.

happy to proved wrong, just hope it’s on the back of a league win! 👍

Went 2-0 up and basically managed the game,we’ve played a lot of football lately and at this time of year pitches and weather are shite etc so all that mattered was the win.

Can’t believe idiots on here complaining tbh
