More rambling from Dave King

I don't trust King at all.

My worry would be that if he doesn't get his own way regards getting back on the board he will be on the phone to his henchman Chris Graham to begin the dirty tricks and destabilisation tactics that they used successfully before. He won't care if it damages the club as long as Dave King gets what Dave King wants.

I doubt he genuinely wants to rejoin the board. He knows the c1872 thing is a no go. Imagine it's a play to get his shares sold off before they get further diluted.

He wants a return on his investment asap.

 

I would imagine he would push for a more aggressive player sales strategy as one way of achieving that objective.

 

He will not play second fiddle to anyone.

Iirc, that's why Park Jr is on the board. Sr chucked it and his boy took his place before changing his mind and deciding both would stay.

Sr stepped down in 2015, came back at Kings request in 2018 as deputy chairman before taking over from King. Don't think King thought Jr would stay on the board when Sr returned.

Apparently Latham isn’t to do with this, but the timing is off and does make you wonder what’s going on.

Does make me wonder if King is trying to be a colossal pain in the ass so someone buys him out as it looks like this c1872 scheme is all but dead in the water.

Part of me says that if King wants back on the board then let him. We owe him a debt.

Other part is suspicious of his timing and motives.

So I am sitting on the fence until I have more facts.
