Jack couldn't manage a fourth game in ten days. Balogun wasn't fit enough after coming off the bench v Dortmund

So Jack is fine to play 3 games in 7 days, but a 4th in 10 is too much?

Not buying that at all, worst case he should have been on the bench.

If he can't manage the games, how was he able to play 3 games in 7 days?

Makes absolutely no sense, up there with McGregor being rested eariler in the season.

Shouldn't be used in Europe then, league is priority.

Don’t disagree with the bit in bold.

Some claimed it was correct to rest Jack, deary me..

Resting him if fully fit would be ridiculous.

The fact the guy who last played 3 games in a week in Feb 2021, and had multiple setbacks, wasn't even on the bench suggests he's not yet ready for his 4th consecutive game in 10 days.

But aye.

Fucked it today .

Two goals up and we lose two goals because we're playing one CH .

It was also obvious it needed changed at so many times during the game and he waited till too near the end .

Playing one centre half, it was that one centre half, and his captain right back and his keeper who were to blame for both the goals

You seem to be ignoring Bassey losing possession and Lundstrum getting beat in a sprint.

Strange that...

Yep and imo he should be prioritised for the league. That's on Gio.

But it's over a year since he's had the run of games he's had in the last week, and why it's pretty obvious a 4th would be too much for him.

It's pretty telling he wasn't even on the bench. But aye, resting him and that ...

A guy beat in a race is at fault for a goal? So being slower than your opponent is your fault now?

And after bassey losing the ball and lundstram being beaten for pace, what happened?

Bassey loses possession almost at the halfway Line. That happens in football. As for Lundstram losing a foot race, it's hard to blame him for that and no other defender in there wins that footrace.

The fault of the second goal was between Goldson and McGregor, more so McGregor.

The central defensive area and goalkeeper are absolutely the priority come the summer.

We can look at the tactics, the personnel, chances missed, but that game was over in the first half. Defensive lapses let them back into it, and it's happening way too often.

Yep, as a defender you block the forwards path in a direct race.  Good to see you now accept Basseys fault. Are you saying its OK to be slower in a flat race if you're a CH?

What happened was the guy rolled the ball across the face of the goa 3 yards outl, mcgregor chose not to dive in it, Goldson didn't gamble on making contact and potentially scoring an OG, and they scored.
