Watched the highlights and we missed 4 good chances including the penalty.  The defence looks a bit suspect and having been watching highlights of other games that appears a common fault.  You are far more in the know than most mate, what are your thoughts?

Only really getting to B Team games in recent weeks as they have been clashing with first team fixtures. The Colts have lost 27 goals in 18 League games yet sit top of the league. U18's have similar issues losing 27 goals in 13 games.

Seems to be common across both the leagues as 4th placed Tranent have the lowest goals against in Lowland League. While in the U18's league Motherwell have lost 18 in 13th games.

So I think its fair to say we have not been strong defensively.

Yet the clean sheet at the weekend was achieved with a back four in which only Connor Allan has played regularly. Kelsey Ewan has been on the fringes, while Kevin Ciubotaru and Greig Allen have had a few injuries.

No a great fan of the Lowland League as in my opinion the West and East of Scotland Leagues are stronger. There is supposed to be a review looking at some sort of reconstruction at the end of the season, so we will see what that brings.

Rangers and Celtic are now the top two in the league. Hearts have taken a different approach fielding much younger teams and sit in 13th. Of the 12 players they used at the weekend against Tranent 7 were U18.

The West leagues have some really good teams. Think the young lads would get a better taste for football there.

Seems you go to a lot of the youth games. Has the lad that came on v QOS, Archie Stevens been featuring much at any level?

One of my mates is at it, said we have been pish, he’s a bit of a doom merchant but that score line would suggest he might have a case.

Hearts have basically been playing a mix of their 16s/17s of late.

That’s a poor, poor score from us.

Yeah pretty dismal, do you think it’s complacency or do Hearts have a better group of youngsters?

Imo it’s a poor crop of youngsters in the B team.

There’s not a player that jumps out to you as a future first teamer.

The defenders especially are really poor.

Disappointing, was hoping McAusland, Ure and Lindsay would have kicked on a bit.

Is Yfeko any good?
