In order to apply for one he needs to apply for British Citizenship which involves passing the life in the UK test along with an English test.

The likes of Izaguirre from them never managed to do this despite being here for about 7 years

Morelos still does not have a great command of English to be able to do that so he's not getting a UK passport.

I’ve no idea whether Izaguirre wanted to remain here long-term or not. Morelos speaks more English than fans are willing to give him credit for.

He sat the test a number of times and neither are that straightforward. The  UK test a lot of natural born people would struggle.
