In the Brazil game yesterday, should the penalty not have been a foul to Korea? Is this not why the Kent goal against Dortmund was chalked off? Morelos committed a foul by getting in the way of an attempted pass from the Dortmund player? @The Dude If I remember correctly you said something about the rule at the time. IMO, it should have been a penalty, and the Kent goal should have stood back against Dortmund, but I thought the rules were fucked up in this scenario and state it should have been a freekick to Korea. Difference between them is the Brazilian player got a toe on the ball, think it was Richarlison, before the contact with the player was made. So the Brazilian was fouled under the rules. Morelos hadn't touched the ball before the Dortmund player and him made contact so it was deemed Morelos was stopping him from playing the ball. mitre_mouldmaster
McEwan's Lager 32,020
I actually quite like that rule to be honest. It stops players from deliberately putting their feet in front of defenders to win a foul when they have no intention of playing for the ball. The Messi v Koulibaly one from a few seasons back in the CL was a shocker.

Walking away on his own at the end when the rest of the team were celebrating just sums the self centred cunt up The alternative interpretation is that his teammates have just played brilliantly and deserve huge praise so he’s taken himself away from the limelight so that the focus is not on him but on his mates who have done so well. rabc10000
