ExiledWeegie123 1,434 Posted Tuesday at 17:03 Share Posted Tuesday at 17:03 Always like Souttar even when he was at Hearts, just a no frills stick his body on the line defender but I've been pleasantly surprised in how good he is at bringing the ball out. harry3

bluenoz 32,665 Posted Friday at 17:08 Share Posted Friday at 17:08 The criticism of Souttar and Propper was a bit OTT last night. Granted, they weren't great, but the dangers mostly came from the wide areas. Fofana & Cherki had the better of Tav & Jefté all night long. Last week, Souttar was getting praise, but now he doesn't make Sunday's match thread team — RM at its finest.
Popular Post McEwan's Lager 32,124 Posted Friday at 17:26 Popular Post Share Posted Friday at 17:26 Souttar was fine last night. Opening two goals he done everything he is meant to do. The second goal especially, he actually put Barron and Propper in a great position to recover, it's not his fault Propper needlessly sprinted past Lacazette and left him wide open for a tap in. Honestly some of the worst individual defending I've seen at Ibrox. bluenoz, Davy Vandenbroucke, MacBoyd and 2 others

Constantly going after the ball with no idea of where his man is.
Inigo 33,373 Posted Friday at 18:12 Share Posted Friday at 18:12 Yeah, Propper doesn't look good at that level at all. Looked every bit the downgrade on Goldson last night. BlueAvenger

DGers91 14 Posted Friday at 19:05 Share Posted Friday at 19:05 Another one thats not good enough for the big games. we have too many players not good enough to wear our jersey in the big games.
ayro 3,543 Posted Friday at 19:10 Share Posted Friday at 19:10 Didn’t think he was responsible for any goals but his passing was abysmal and at no point did he or Propper look comfortable against Lacazette. BlueAvenger
Zappa6995 3,808 Posted Friday at 19:38 Share Posted Friday at 19:38 Another one that just seems to switch off, he played a pass last night that was more like a shot, a bog standard SPFL level defender.

You regularly watching him at Lyon aye? He’s 33 and our cbs are 28 and 31. He’s hardly over the hill in his career compared to them

I would hope that our two CBs collectively would handle one striker, sadly they never. Agree on Cherki as he was good the last time we played them, hadn’t heard of Fofana until last night but thought he was excellent. Genuine question, given your view on their attack to our defence I assume you were expecting us to get pumped? Personally I looked at them mostly as names like Matic, Tolisso, Lacazette etc as being good in their day but by their best hence why they were at Lyon and thought draw would be a solid result, which is looking stupidly optimistic 😂
