The refereeing standard and what they’re used to getting away with in Scotland compared to what they will get away with in Europe is probably a factor, think that’s a major reason why the tarriers struggle as they’re almost a protected species in this country. Hearts, Hibs and Aberdeen literally survive on the scraps of lower level English football and the best of the rest in the SPL. The overall standard is very low. It’s not about playing football… they just have no money and shit players for the most part. Any decent players they have are now quickly mopped up by English championship teams who will pay wages that even us and the mhanks can’t/won’t offer.
