Malkytfp1 18,618
Souttar somehow gets away with a lot on here. Don't get it. He's fucking jobby. MacBoyd and Jimfanciesthedude
LaudrupsPatrickBoots 13,510
Neither are good enough if we want to be challenging for titles. Simple as that.
left winger 14,296
Didn’t want Souttar, was coming round to him, but now back to square one.

He is not going to change or improve his awareness or concentration so play someone else rather than add another cb to cover for him.
The Beast 9,230
Souttar has these lapses of concentration that often lead to disaster. He's obviously not a left sided CB either - another example of square pegs and round holes. I don't think he's any better or worse than Davies necessarily but neither are good enough to be a first pick for us. Ivybank
Big Al 55 9,279
We’re poor all over the park tbf, Goldson was awful mistake yesterday, goals (that mattered) last midweek were down to midfield not picking up their runners.
Big Al 55 9,279
I’d like to see all three playing, in 3-5-2. We need to start controlling the midfield 👍 sausagetrunks
MacBoyd 5,492
Big John was abysmal yesterday and not for the first time. Cost us the goal, nearly cost another by trying to be messi. Davies or balogun should play next game. Ivybank

Willing to give Sterling the benefit of the doubt given he is getting played out of position on his second start. Wont get much more leeway though. Im the same. Genuinely think the league is most likely gone anyway. They have a decent lead already with a load of their main players yet to come back. Might as well blood in King and see if he can pick up some experience. Wouldnt be against Rice and Lovelace getting plenty of game time either. sausagetrunks 6,039
if Beale is wanting to play Borna and Tav as wingers he should look at 3-5-2 and get both forwards on with Raskin, Cifu and Cantwell playing in their best positions. The 3 at the back can cover tav and Borna when they are pushing. kelvd1873

Souttar is fine as a squad player. Davies probably faster and technically better but not as strong in the challenge. Balogun would start before both of them for me. He should be up in line with the defender attacking the ball. Taught that in school ffs. How many goals has he been responsible for this season alone without going back to last season. He was also caught out again losing the ball and putting them through on goal where we were luck they never scored. Ben Davies does that he's slated. Souttar is not very good. ayro 3,023
Terrible defending by both Goldson and Souttar for their goal, it’s an unchallenged clearance and CB partner completely sleeping. They are both experienced players, they know what the opposition strikers do in floating offside and playing the line yet get caught out with a simple goal kick. Amateur defending and not for the first time even this season, the goals we lose are criminal, it’s not just the defence, it’s a malaise through the team by not bursting their hole to be difficult to play against. Maeda is one of the worst technical footballers I have seen but by fuck does he put a shift in for his team with aggression and pace, our players don’t want to do the shite bit of football. plymouthranger 3,888
I like Souttar but he’s been directly at fault for about 4 goals already this season (Goldsons not doing much better either). Davies at least has had a run of clean sheets with us last season before the OF fuck up
