Yes, but it shouldn't be our final signing in midfield and we shouldn't be paying over the odds. Successful Rangers teams always have experience in midfield but we need a lot more creativity in there too.

Voted yes but can't see it happening.

He's a key player for them and can't see us paying a decent fee for a 32 yo.

Put this in the shankland pot for me,  would be a good signing - "gets it" and is a good player. But don't think it is ever likely to happen and the link keeps reappearing from fan wants

Tbf, he was never nicknamed Alexi. That's just what he was called by us - we try to Anglicize foreign names.  We used to call Kyiv, Kiev.

Don't see the big deal. An experienced pro who is more than good enough to be a top player in this league, has leadership qualities and is an absolute die-hard. What's bad about that?

People keep banging on about his age but we've just lost Lundstram (30), Barisic (31), Jack (32), Roofe (31) & McLaughlin (36) and signed Igamane (21), Jefte (20), Barron (21) & Nsiala (20), re-signed Cortes (20) and signed Diomande (22) permanently. 

Overall age of the squad has dropped, which is great.
