John Collins resigns

petrie said yesterday no approach had been made. id be disappointed if he became new scotland boss, he is another young promising manager who will most likely miss the day to day involved in club football and will be gone by the end of the year and we will have to start all over again in search of a new manager.

Perfect timing for him going into a game againt a struggling mhanks team and he resignes 2 days before. Very weeird timing.

John Collins for Fulham, ex player and all? Sanchez under pressure...

Is a surprise though this happening, big blow for Hibs

Good shout, Boab.

Although some Hibs fans say he is going to Celtic, after all most of his team went there, and Strachan is the next Scotland boss.

Let the rumours start.

that is very odd, he was making good progress, he might have got some money to spend and they just opened their new training complex as has been mentioned, could he be the scotland manager? maybe but im sure theres been interest from england, its a shocker and a strange one to say the least

maybe they want to take advantage of the new manager always wins his first game so they can win at parkhead :craphead:

Hopefully the mhanks joab efter WGS gets the bump on Jan 3 ! :sherlock:

(tu)

Strange one, didn't the players revolt against Collins last season?

I'm sure i read that Colllins was disappointed with the vision of the club. He wanted to keep the likes of Brown & Thomson and when they left he expected a little cash but didn't get any.

Maybe Petrie has agreed to sell the rest of the team to one or the other of the gullible sides who have over paid and donated millions in the last year for Hibs players.

that makes sense, murphy could be next then

strachan better not get the scotland job, hes got one hell of a fight on his hands for the title this year and celtic are starting to fall to pieces under the pressure. I dont want them to be be able to use the " we lost our manager halfway through the season" EXCUSE when we whip their asses and win the treble. Fecking great timing from collins though just before a match with a celtic side not on great form. Hopefully the players will want to up their game at the weekend to show the new boss what they can do, i would love to see them beat celtic. That would be a cracking christmas present!!! :rangers:
